Dr. Steine has treated me and many of the other dancers I have sent to him with stem cell and platelet procedures. Results have been very successful and everyone appreciated his calm and attentive approach, explaining everything completely. We wish him a happy retirement

I must say when I called to get into see Dr. Kremchek for the very first time, and I was given an appointment the next day, I was surprised! The appointment with Dr. Kremchek was pleasant and I was sent for an X-ray in the same building within minutes, then back to the doctor. When it came time for therapy, I couldn’t be more pleased! The appointment with Kira was perfect! I was given exercises that really helped my knee. Then the cold wrap at the end felt heavenly! The follow-up appointments were all given at once, along with a copy of the exercises. I truly appreciate the kindness and efficiency of everyone so far!

Rottinghaus was recommended through an ER. He did the absolute bare minimum every appointment and then charged a moderate visit to my account. Which is an extra $84. For what? Nothing. I even told him I was in pain from my broken collarbone, crying myself to sleep and waking up to crying in pain. But his nurse stated they don't prescribe pain meds for fractures. The ER didn't warn me about this. I think it's unprofessional and unethical to withhold medicine from someone who obviously needs it. I went through mental anguish from being in so much pain constantly for months. I'm fighting the extra charge currently and going to be talking directly to the ER that recommended him. Update ! My appointment was adjusted then they claimed their prices increased. So total stayed the same as if app. was moderate. Scammers.

I suffered a fall on my left knee onto my hardwood floor late one night. I contacted Beacon Orthopaedic & Sports medicen the next morning. They had me come in within 2 hours and the doctor, and staff, took great care on me.

Trying to get something as simple as an MRI scheduled turned into a day long odyssey of back and forth phone calls and left with no appointment and no help from anyone at Beacon. I was a patient years ago and was never treated like a burden then…things have definitely changed for the worse.

Update: The rating has been downgraded to a 1 from a 2. I went in for a second appointment and experienced the same issues. I was told I just missed the doctor, even though I was one of the first, if not the very first, patient of the day. My appointment notification mentioned that I was meeting with the doctor, but I met with a PA instead(again). After my initial review, I hoped the doctor would actually provide care. To bill my insurance for a doctor's services when I didn't see the doctor is arguably fraudulent. I would not recommend anyone to Beacon Summit Woods, and I would never recommend anyone to see Dr. Koo at Beacon Summit Woods. I have never in my life seen such indifferent treatment by a doctor or medical team, and I have lived near Beacon Summit Woods all my life. This was also the first time I had to fill out demographic and educational information before my appointment. I certainly hope that had nothing to do with my experience, but I cannot rule anything out now. I received no note from the doctor after leaving my review, and he did not even bother to step in at all for my follow-up appointment. I ask the question: If my diagnosis is shown to be incorrect down the line, would it be the doctor's fault or his PA's? I will not be returning to Beacon Summit Woods, even though I gave them a second chance. Original note below: Overall the experience would’ve been great if I saw the doctor that I signed up for, I overheard that someone was scheduled for 5 minutes after my appointment and I was assuming that the doctor must be faster than anyone that I’ve seen before(first time going anywhere outside of Mercy Health in Ohio) but I got an NP that said he was there to get me started but told me the doctors opinion without the doctor talking to me. I understand being busy and just looking a scan shouldn’t take long anyways but I’d want the doctor to at least come into my room and tell me himself and maybe introduce himself to a potential customer. I’ll try and give them another chance but if I don’t have a good experience I may just go back to Mercy. Not a needy customer but I’ve always had close relationships with my doctors at Mercy(I even have his personal cell) and since he wasn’t available this time coming back from school I gave somewhere else a shot, hopefully I can meet him and speak personally about my situation or at least be upfront about meeting with someone else next time.

Great medical facilities and treatment but communication is difficult. Inbound calls seem to be outsourced with no ability to call doctor's office directly. The ability to pull my mother's chart from their version of "My Chart" is negative.
