Summit Primary Care - La Junta

I used to go to Summit in Pueblo but I made the switch to La Junta but I don't think I'll be back. Emily and the staff are nice but there is a HUGE disconnect with people talking to each other. I don't know if they forget, they aren't looking at the notes, or what. It always seems like I have to remind everyone of what's happening. The final straw for me was being told by Emily that they will cancel my appointment, have the staff call me with an exact date of when they want me to come in, then being called the next day to remind me to come in to the appointment that we just cancelled. I reminded them that they had cancelled the appointment and they asked when I wanted to reschedule. Again, I reminded them that they were supposed to call me with the time they need me to come in. That was about two weeks ago and I haven't heard back nor do I think I will. It's a bummer about the communication especially with them being so close compared to Pueblo, but for me, the hassle isn't worth it.

Great and friendly staff! Always ready to help out anyway they can and get my family and I into office to been seen. They are all amazing!

Ms Garcia is one of the best doctors I have ever had, she has listened to each and every concern I have had and has helped me come up with a plan and a goal, she is so nice and caring.

I started with Emily as my pain management Dr....she is so compassionate that she is now my primary care provider....if you're looking for a Dr to fight and advocate for your health call on Emily's office at summit primary care....best healthcare in the lower valley....

Absolutely love this office, staff is professional and Emily takes her time in my visits and listens.

Filled out the paperwork for my mother-in-law to be a new patient there was told that the providers would look at it and call us within 48 hours to set up an appointment heard nothing from them called them back they said they would have the provider look at it that day and call us that was last week still nothing would not recommend this facility
