My son received an OT evaluation 4 months ago. My insurance covered all, but a small portion. I was forced to pay the full out of pocket costs right after the evaluation. Fast forward to today, my insurance has sent them documentation stating that they paid for most of the evaluation. Unfortunately, Summit Pediatric Therapy REFUSES to reimburse me. They are pocketing the rest of the money that is owed to me.

Miss Rebecca is the best! My daughter has adhd and autism and Miss Rebecca is always so patient, kind and understanding. My daughter has greatly improved since seeing her. We are so grateful!

I have had nothing but a positive experience in my son’s time working with Erin and Emily on speech and OT. They are always extremely helpful and go above and beyond to get my son the support he needs. He has had measurable improvements since starting with them a year ago. They are very responsive and communicative and I’m so happy to have come across them.

We were looking to use this office after our daughter aged out of early intervention. It's very unfortunate that there isn't enough access here. They get you in quickly for the evaluation but you won't be able to get an appointment with a therapist for months. We took her in for an evaluation 3 months ago, was told we'd be put on a wait-list, and didn't hear back until they wanted us to pay a bill, which was for the initial evaluation. Therapy for pediatric patients are very time sensitive. My recommendation to this office is that they should not be scheduling evaluations to trap patients if they don't have the capacity to see them in a timely manner. Appointments are only 30 minutes long so it's really unfortunate that the access is so terrible. The reality for this office is that it's about money unfortunately and not the kids.

This review has nothing to do with the actual therapists as they are amazing. This review deals with the administrative side and I feel bad for the therapists working under this management. This place only looks at your child as a number with no real desire for their wellbeing, again not speaking about the therapists. They cancel appointments without telling you and with no cause. They discontinue services without provocation. As of writing this, my balance is $0 (so money is not the issue and they won't even let you attend your next appointment unless your balance is $0) and my special needs kiddo is scheduled for 5 appointments 4 times a week. That's a lot of co-pays. I am insured very well but was still paying $70 for a 30 minute session, that's $350/week! We attended for several months always keeping the balance at $0 because of the above reason. Despite that, I received a voicemail saying they were no longer willing to continue services for my kiddo. No reasoning behind it and will not communicate a reason why completely crippling my kiddos developmental progress. The manager "Rachel" is one of the most unprofessional people I've come across and the fact they get to potentially shape or misshape your kiddo is truly unbecoming. To be completely transparent and quote her in her voicemail I received at 1pm on a workday : "Because you didn't return my call confirming your appointment today in a reasonable time, which was about an hour ago and I'd say thats reasonable, we are discontinuing services for your kiddo." They never called to confirm appointments previously so why now? and to put the developmental momentum of my kiddo at risk for less than an hour is abysmal, meanwhile I had already confirmed the appointment in an email a week prior. My kiddo attended here for several months and got attached to a few therapists and, because of that, was making excellent progress. It hurts me to have to start that all over again without reasoning. This will no doubt slow her momentum which saddens me. I urge you, do not fall into this trap and find a better location for your kiddo. You don't want to be months in and have to start over with no reasoning behind it. You also don't want to deal with the administrative side, which you will inevitably have to do. Do your kid right and go somewhere else.

Michael has been very friendly and accommodating and works well with my son. He was very nervous about coming here but Michael made him feel comfortable. Great staff overall.

My 9 year old Autistic and Apraxic daughter and I have been with this company for 6 years. We have been with Emily O'Sullivan, and Amy Flora for that entire time. These ladies and this company have been my lifeline for my daughter during this time. Emily and Amy have ALWAYS taken a neurodiversity positive and trauma informed approach with my daughter who was non verbal up until last year. Emily has also taught my daughter how to communicate using her AAC device which has opened up her life in magnificent ways. She stays up to date on best practices and Apraxia specific approaches. Right now we are doing DTTC which an oral motor planning, speech therapy approach, it's made a world of a difference, my child is speaking regularly and is getting more intelligible by the day. Over the years Amy has taught me and my daughter everything sensory and how it applies to my daughter, She has helped us come up with and reevaluate sensory diets almost each year as my daughter grows and things change. This ultimately ends up helping so much when it comes to behavior. She has taught my daughter everything from how to climb stairs when she was little, to now writing full sentences, to riding a bike, to teaching her about her feelings and how to express them. And also has helped us both with proprioception recognition, my daughter couldn't tell you how she felt inside, if she was in pain, she can now. Thanks to Amy! Both women are amazing in parent training as well. If you want to be involved and do things at home, they will teach you everything you need to know so you can continue the momentum in your home. Both ladies will and have collaborated with our entire IEP team, as well as our behavioral consultant to make sure that my daughter is getting consistent care from everyone she comes in contact with. Also They are amazing at getting referral and recommendation letters in, every single piece of equipment that we have ever had to ask Medicaid for funding for, Amy and Emily are on top of it every time. I am incredibly proud of Emily and Amy for moving over to Westminster to open this desperately needed office in the area. Because Westminster is lacking in therapeutic options for kiddos like mine. I can think of no better two therapists who work as hard as they do and to be the leads to open this office. They are like family, in the most professional of ways. These two ladies are VERY much worth the 30 miles my daughter and I drive twice a week for our family, plus they are flexible and are able to do telehealth which makes all the difference in the world.

My son absolutely loves his sessions with Emily. She's amazing and I'm impressed with the quick progress he's making towards his goals. It's been much easier to understand what my son is saying and he's getting less frustrated now that he's able to express himself. I highly recommend Emily and Summit Pediatric Therapy.
