Strides Pediatric Therapy

My child has loved coming here. Staff is friendly. Horses are friendly. They have actual therapists whereas most hippotherapy places do not.

My son has been going to strides since July. I don’t like to give reviews right away until I’ve had time to go through the experience for quite sometime so I can give an honest review. My son was violent, not communicating his emotions, separation anxiety, swearing at us and generally just hurting. After just a couple months at Strides he was moving mountains. He’s continued to improve with a few setbacks that have been addressed right away. He’s able to tell you how he’s feeling, express himself without violence and also how to regulate his body. Our family is thriving and our time with him is pleasant instead of miserable. I love how the therapists all work together and everyone involved knows what’s going on with your child. The community there is amazing and we love the atmosphere. He gets excited to go there every week and thrives for days after his sessions. Thanks to you all at Strides! We’re so lucky we found you! I can't say enough about this place! The staff are friendly and collaborative. I love the use of horses to address therapy goals. This is a one of a kind facility worth checking out!

My boys have been doing therapy at strides ever since summer 2020 and we love it here! All the therapists are so great with my kids and so knowledgeable. My boys look forward to coming here and lovingly call it “the horse gym”. My favorite moment at strides was the first time my nonverbal son rode a horse. I had never seen his body so regulated and he learned how to tap the horse and tell it to go!! The staff is also great at working with/contacting insurance which is a huge bonus. Highly recommend this place.

We absolutely love Strides and our children have been receiving various therapies there since July of 2020. Our children have done Speech Therapy, Feeding Therapy, OT, and PT and I have been very impressed with the quality of the therapists that they have. I am very selective about therapists for our children, and have been really pleased with all of them that we've worked with. They are the cream of the crop! Our daughter absolutely loves riding their therapy horses and has made such progress since she started. I love that their therapists in all specialities - OT, PT, Speech, etc are specially trained to do hippotherapy (therapy using horses), so insurance covers the therapy. The other hippotherapy clinics in the area I looked into do not have PTs, OTs, etc doing the hippotherapy, so insurance doesn't cover them. We love Strides!!!

Absolutely love Strides! The therapists are knowledgeable, personable, and professional. We have also loved having a team all working together instead of relaying information between multiple places.

This place is so amazing. My son has been several places over the course of 5 years. Last summer my son hit the lowest point in his life and we thought we might lose him. Marley saved his life. That is not an exaggeration. In 6 months she made more progress with him than the other half dozen therapist did in 5+ years. Kacie is amazing and helped my son with his sensory issues. The whole staff there changed our lives forever and we will be forever grateful. The atmosphere is so welcoming and it just feels like a safe place for those who need help. We love strides and cannot thank them enough for saving our sons life.

Strides is enhancing my child's life and helping her in all areas. The staff members are amazing and incredibly knowledgeable, create an awesome rapport, and are great teachers. My daughter is learning so much more than how to ride a horse. Every session has a theme and follow up. She's learning important coping skills and life lessons. I am so grateful for Strides!
