For some time had been experiencing a pain in my foot during running until it got to the point where I would have trouble even walking short distances. I am no athlete and at first, the thought of getting professional help felt a bit excessive, but I'm so glad I reached out to the team at Stretch Affect in time because the extremely knowledgeable and kind staff there have changed the way I think about my physical wellbeing. After an initial assessment where Kyle and Ralph identified the source of the problem, they curated a plan that focuses not only on treatment and recovery but also on building the abilities and techniques needed to properly perform the activities I enjoy. This includes regular sessions of sports massages, cupping and stretching, along with exercises to improve flexibility, mobility, stability and strength. They also provide well documented instructions with videos that are easy to follow along at home in between sessions. In just a few months time, especially with Ralph's expert guidance and patient efforts, I've been able to get back to running outdoors and continue to improve on my form and endurance. The entire team at Stretch Affect make you feel welcome and maintain a very positive and encouraging environment for all their clients. The space is kept clean and they have some interesting equipment that definitely make the workouts more impactful and varied. It's easy to work with them to accommodate any changes to schedules and plan according to my financial comfort which is a huge plus for me. Overall, I am very happy with my experience and would recommend them to anyone looking to get help with their physical health journey.

I have been coming to stretch affect for close to a year. I was referred from a friend who saw strong benefits in mobility and strength to improve his golf game and he saw strong results. They have helped improve my strength and were invaluable during a running injury and aided recovery with massage, cupping, active release methods. They provide structure and programs and give you a good foundation for mobility and techniques to perform at home. Highly recommend the whole team at Stretch Affect

I have been going to stretch affect for the last few months to work on issues regarding lack of dorsiflexion, as well as mobility and flexibility in my hips. From the very beginning I was impressed with the facilities and team. Everyone is so welcoming, knowledgeable and working together to help you achieve your goals. I work 1:1 with Chelsea and she has been outstanding to work with, I fell like I have a partner and trainer. I donโ€™t feel locked into a rigid program, she takes her time during each session to assess where Iโ€™m at understand how my home training is going and adjust. I have been working on these issues off and on for years, but have never made so much progress, I am so happy with my progress to have someone who is just as stoked for my progress as well. I highly recommend Stretch Affect!

When I first came to Stretch Affect San Diego, I was reluctant and skeptical after dealing with sacral and coccyx pain for nearly two years. Despite trying numerous other avenues for relief, including other physical therapists, nothing seemed to work. Kyle assured me that, over time, Stretch Affect could help. After just three weeks, I noticed some improvements. Even minor habit changes, coupled with their expert use of active release techniques, sports massage, and manual therapy, made a difference. These approaches helped address discomfort from years of poor posture and limited mobility due to my office job. The team also incorporated flexibility and training exercises into my recovery plan, enhancing my mobility and overall well-being. During therapy, I faced additional setbacks from outside injuries, but Stretch Affect was there to assist in my active recovery. I am now five months into therapy and can function day to day with minimal pain. Their comprehensive care has truly transformed my quality of life, and I continue to see improvements in the ever-evolving program that is customized to respond to my bodyโ€™s needs.

๐Ÿˆ Stretch Affect in San Diego is a game-changer for physical therapy! ๐Ÿ‹๏ธโ€โ™‚๏ธ We first turned to Stretch Affect when my son needed support to improve his physical performance for football. Their expert team introduced him to many new therapies, including active release technique, sports massage, and manual therapy. They focused on improving his posture, refining his exercise and weight training form, and providing essential recovery treatments like cupping and stretching. The results have been fantastic! As for me, I struggled with persistent lower back pain, but Stretch Affect's tailored approach made a huge difference. They taught me a series of strength training exercises that have significantly improved my flexibility and overall stability. The combination of cupping, stretching, and their specialized therapies alleviated the pain I've dealt with for many months. If you're looking for top-notch physical therapy in San Diego, especially for sports performance or pain relief, I can't recommend Stretch Affect enough! ๐Ÿ™Œ

The team at Stretch Affect are beyond amazing! Hurt my lower back and could barely move and they assisted me right away. Gave me a program to follow for long term management and strengthening core and back. I worked with Chelsea who is absolutely amazing! The whole team is. Grateful to Stretch Affect.

I was referred to Stretch Affect by a friend and have been a client for a little over a year. Initially, the reason to join was back pain, limited hip mobility, restricted movement in my shoulder and general stiffness. Despite being fairly active, I had the above issues exacerbated by some sports injuries. The "Stretch" part of Stretch Affect seemed a good idea to get my body in better shape. When I joined, there was an assessment and an explanation of the approach. The assessment provided the baseline which was used to create my training regimen. To start, the focus was on healing which included physical therapy, stretching, active release techniques, flexibility training and sports massage. As I progressed and my body felt better, the priority shifted to strength training, plyometrics and some cardio. My trainer, Nick, designed a program for me which included sets to activate various parts of my body in a logical sequence. Thirteen month in, I am more flexible and stronger with little or no pain when exercising which includes regular mountain biking, SUP surfing, weight training and skiing in the winter. What I love about Stretch Affect is the integrative approach to healing, creating flexibility, building strength and improving my general body awareness starting with breathing and posture. Who knew I needed to learn that! Also very powerful is the skill of the trainers which are PT AND training specialists. This allows flexibility in the workout depending on the needs. Also important, the staff are body and training nerds, always testing the latest methods and machines. The training facility is excellent and allows for the variety necessary to address all parts of the body. Although I generally work with the same trainer, the whole staff is consistent in their approach which I experienced first hand. While it's not cheap and there is only one location which is a bit far from North County, I love to have found Stretch Affect. I am grateful for the guided training and integrative approach which effectively supports my well being. Well done and Thank You!

I recently visited a fantastic facility in San Diego for stretching, physical therapy, and sports massage. When I arrived, I was dealing with tight muscles, immobility, and persistent pain affecting my balance and stability. The staff were incredibly knowledgeable and used techniques like active release, manual therapy, and targeted sports massage to address my issues. The tailored stretching sessions significantly improved my flexibility and range of motion, and the physical therapy sessions targeted my pain points and promoted healing. Their holistic approach to treatment focused on addressing the underlying causes of my pain. Thanks to their expert care, I now have improved mobility, greater flexibility, and significantly less pain. I feel more balanced and stable, allowing me to return to running and yoga with renewed energy and confidence. If you're in San Diego and need stretching, physical therapy, or sports massage, this is the place to go. They transformed my physical health, and I'm sure they can do the same for you.
