Steppin' Up Physical Therapy

I thought I would hate physical therapy.. but I LOVED IT. I worked with Jerad at the Georgetown location, then at the Sage Bluff location. He has always had a great, fun attitude and has helped me so so much with my back pain. He has shown me some mechanics that I've been doing wrong my whole life and that alone has made a world of a difference. I can't thank Jerad and the Steppin' Up team enough!!

Jerad worked with me at Steppin Up Physical Therapy and very thoroughly worked on my balance with numerous exercises that strengthened my leg muscles. He was courteous and listened to me and would intently find the correct exercise that would help my balance problems. Everyone that works there is top of the line. If I need therapy again I will return.

I was a little skeptical that physical therapy was going to help me with the night time pain in my hip. But I soon changed my mind with the help of Jenny Kruit and Jerad Brickey. They both helped me to understand the source of my pain and how my body was compensating for my weak side. Thanks to the whole team who were all so warm, friendly and competent.

After many visits for therapy, Stepping Up has proven themselves they are a top-notch company by their appearance of the employees, and the facilities. Everyone & all the equipment is clean, organized, and stored properly. Scheduling, time of your appointment, the plan your therapist has in store for you is all set and has a defined schedule of events, exercises, etc, are all in place and easily adjusted to match and support your personal plan for full recovery. I went to SW Steppin up with a very sore shoulder. Throughout the course of my treatment I worked with 4 different people each very skilled and each brought a different technique. All were professional, positive and enjoyable to work with. Thanks to these wonderful people, I now have the skills needed to live with an aging body. Considering the fact that I have had little to no success with previous therapists at other physical therapy facilities when it came to dealing with extreme pain and numbness caused by multiple degenerative cervical discs and a pinched nerve, I was skeptical of trying Steppin' Up. Walking in the first time, I was surprised by the friendly, pleasant and yet professional way (without the standard "clinical" feel) that I was greeted and assisted by the front desk staff. I am happy to report that that was the norm throughout all my visits and with all the staff at Steppin' Up. My first experience was greatly enhanced when I met Nathan, my Physical Therapist, who seemed to have the innate ability to recognize my physical problems just by watching how I walked, carried myself and my physical demeanor when greeting him. I later found out that I was lucky enough to have been assigned to the one PT who is know throughout the medical community as the one person to treat cervical problems. Nathen helped reduce my pain during the course of my treatments as I waited for the surgeon to perform the cervical fusion of 3 of my discs. I am happy to say that Nathan was also my PT following my surgery. He was attentive, empathetic and, most importantly, effective in my rehabilitation. Because of Nathan's expertise, my recover was completed in weeks rather than the months that the surgeon expected. The entire staff were welcoming and included all of their patients when they were having their "family fun" with each other and other patients who chose to participate. In my opinion, anyone accepted as a patient at Steppin' Up are blessed with the best in care and caring.
