Followed up on a recommendation for PT from Dr. Jacobsen in Bend and selected Step and Spine on Shevlin Park Parkway. First contact was with office staff who were fantastic. Very efficient and considerate of my calendar in scheduling appointments and sending reminders. The Therapist I worked with was Aaron who was absolutely dynamic! Problem of neck and upper shoulder pain solved! Problem of sometimes severe tingling down my left arm solved after my series of sessions. I shall definitely return to Step and Spine and shall see Aaron again. I would certainly recommend them to others.

Step & Spine is fantastic! I broke my right humerus and left 5th metatarsal back in March of 2024. Once I had healed enough for PT, I worked with Allison and Nikki. Both of them were excellent, and I felt they genuinely cared about me and my progress. I attribute all of my healing to them and doing my exercises at home. Without physical therapy, I believe I would have very little use of my arm right now, but I have come a long way and have almost full range of motion and most of my strength back. They also worked diligently with the workers' compensation insurance people to make sure I was able to utilize all of my authorized appointments. I would highly recommend Step & Spine to anyone who needs physical therapy for their healing.

The office staff was always efficient and kind. Aaron was knowledgeable of my specific needs and the therapy he applied. He was sensitive as to my limitations while gently encouraging me. He was a smart, kind and communicative therapist whom I strongly recommend. The entire office was always clean and inviting.

I had an exceptional experience working through a shoulder injury at Step and Spine! Getting an appointment was quick and easy, and I was able to be seen within a day or so (some other local PT offices were booked out for months). At first, this easy accessibility made me a bit skeptical, but I soon came to realize how wrong I was. The front office staff were friendly, efficient and accommodating while working through the payment process and appointment scheduling. The whole office had a Bend vibe rather than a corporate feel, which I found reassuring and comfortable with. My physical therapist, Aaron, was incredibly fun to work with! He made me feel comfortable and reassured me even when my confidence about healing was at its lowest point. He used a combination of techniques to successfully heal my shoulder so that I could continue my love of gym climbing. In the office, he used a form of deep tissue massage/unkinking some knots that were stubborn beasts, performed a kind of (body) traction to improve range of motion, and taught me many different exercises to work through at home. The exercises were also accessible through an app, which I loved and will continue to use. At times I slacked off with the at-home work, but never felt pressured or demeaned by Aaron. He was always encouraging! I am beyond thrilled to have achieved my goals with Aaron's help and would recommend him to anyone without hesitation. I hope to not need PT anytime soon, but will most definitely return to Aaron if I do!!! I didn't get to know any of the other PTs in the office, but they also seemed pretty great from my viewpoint!

Aaron did a great job working and rebuilding the muscle in my neck and upper back area that were in pain after having whiplash caused by a rear-end collision. He gave me multiple exercises to use at home and during sessions to build strength back in my neck, head and upper back. He worked to isolate and find tender muscles that needed extra work to rebuild. When I first saw Aaron it was difficult during day to complete activities like disc golf. After 4 weeks I felt like I was back to normal, now with an arsenal of stretches and strength training regimens.

I came to Step and Spine with chronic lower back pain, which became quite intense lately . My PT was Aaron Pado. After initial evaluation of muscular strength / weaknesses, he suggested a course of action. This course included 2 weekly visits to the office for some lower back massages/ stretches as well as sets of exercises to target muscles issues that he believed caused back pain. At the end of each session I got a homework ( set of exercises/ stretches) to work daily on my own. Aaron is quite knowledgeable and I quickly made a steady progress getting myself out of strong pain to rather feeling of muscle stiffness. As a physically active person I wanted to continue my gym routine and regular yoga classes. Aaron supported me in this by supplying a routine of exercises that would target muscle disbalance as well as worked with me on adjusting and scaling down intensity of the exercises rather then just stopping them for the duration of the PT course. Overall , I was quite happy with my progress and results. I did not look for a miracle but with the expert help of Aaron I was able to make a steady progress and eliminate most of back pain issues. On top of it now I have a firm plan of exercises/ stretches that I can incorporate into my daily work out routine and continue working on my own.

Highly recommend going to see Nikki for your physical therapy. After going in for tweaking my back with painful spasms, Nikki helped me identify the problem, educate me on my SI Joint Instability, and give me exercises and tools to help strengthen my muscles. Her manual therapy skills were also a huge help. The best part was how positive and friendly she was to make physical therapy a more enjoyable experience. 10/10, couldn’t recommend enough!

Aaron is a fantastic therapist with a great personality. He not only took care of the issue with my knee but has also become a good friend. I am delighted to recommend him to anyone one for any reason. I believe him to be an asset to our community.
