I'm so pleased with my time at Steady State. I love working with Robyn. I'm relatively new to running and being in my early 50s, I've found it challenging to navigate hormone and body composition changes. I really appreciate the care and consideration I receive from Robyn. My running has improved significantly with the training program she developed for me. I love the gentle progress I make with strength exercises and incrementally challenging runs mixed with active recovery. Over the past few years, I've had fits and starts with my running because I've gone out too hard too quickly, and I end up getting injured. My goal for working with Robyn is to learn how to avoid injury while continuing to improve. By focusing on building strength and improving my form, I'm on my way to achieving my goal of doing a trail half marathon under 12 minute/mile. Thank you Steady State!

Steady State helped me get back on track for my half marathon! After experiencing concerning pain in my calves, I booked an intro call with Steady State to talk through my issue. Had a fantastic call with Kelton who listened and asked me thoughtful questions throughout our conversation. I started a going in for PT sessions with Mike, and with his treatment in-clinic and exercise plan for me to do at home, I was back to running pain-free and feeling stronger than ever in just a few weeks!

Dr. Brown has been so patient and informative to me, being my first time ever seeing a physical therapist and self taught runner. I am so glad I decided to come to Steady State. After 3 weeks I have learned so much more about my body and how to keep it healthy and injury free. I’m stronger and more resilient than ever. 10/10

I truly could not recommend Steady State highly enough! I came to steady state about 6 weeks out from marathon day with a nagging hip issue that had been present for over a decade and greatly limited my ability to train. After just a few weeks working with Dr. Brown I was pain-free and felt empowered with a greater understanding of this issue and what I could do to mitigate it. Dr. Brown's help allowed me to push through the rest of my training in good health and have a successful race. This work has brought me closer to goals I would've recently thought to be too ambitious and I'm excited to pursue those goals with the help of Steady State. The whole staff (especially Farren!) creates a welcoming and positive atmosphere that I'm excited to get to visit when I have an appointment.

I started seeing Mike a few weeks ago for a strained muscle and it has been the best PT experience of my life. He’s been incredibly thoughtful about my recovery plan and once I started feeling better he created a strength program for me to be proactive moving forward. The best part is that you’re 1:1 with your PT the whole appointment at Steady State, they don’t go off to check in on other patients while you’re there. 11/10 would recommend.

Stop trying to fix it on your own and book a discovery call! I've been a client of Steady State for a little over a year and have been nothing but impressed by the quality of the service offered. I originally worked with members of the team to alleviate a hamstring issue while running/hiking, from the intake calls and first appointment it was clear that this was different then other physical therapy. We worked together to discuss my personal fitness/athletic goals, developed a rehabilitation plan, discussed training plan modifications, and red flags to look out for. As the immediate injury subsided we transitioned to preventative strengthening/mobility and improving my ability to reach my goals. Steady State offers true performance and goal-oriented physical therapy. If top notch physical therapy isn't enough to convince you, their team is made up amazing people and supports the local running community!

After dealing with a nagging hamstring issue for over a year, I decided to give PT at Steady State a try. I was just blown away by the level of attention and detail- it is like NO other PT experience out there. The amount of time and attention they give to each patient is truly second to none. Dr Waugh immediately honed in on my weakness and issues, and sent me home with a plan that met my goals and fit into my busy lifestyle. Both the hands on in person session, and the amazingly detailed plan for me to follow, had me seeing improvements well beyond anything I had hoped for! I was able to run my goal race, the London Marathon, strong and pain free (and much faster than my goal time) because of the help Steady State gave me. I drive well over an hour for my sessions there, and can confidently say it is 100% worth it. I'm so pleased I found this amazing practice, and would (and have) recommended it to my friends, family, and fellow athletes.

Going to Steady State has enabled me to go back to running. I had stopped running consistently due to a meniscus tear that went undiagnosed to two years. I finally had surgery and did some PT but then Covid hit and a move to Maine from PA and of course the accumulation of years. My daughter gave me a consultation at Steady State. Robyn was so positive that I could make it back to running again. She did not just tell me, too much arthritis or that's just getting old etc. I was not really ready to be old. I have consistently followed the plan and done the exercises. In the process, I have found new muscles and flexibility. My balance and footing when hiking is so much better. I can run three times a week, even did 3.6 miles. Thank you, Robyn and Steady State
