At the beginning when my cousin was starting her physical therapy for an injury she endured at her work, Peggy was very nice and polite while I accompanied my cousin. But, as soon as I stopped accompanying her, my cousin who speaks very little english but understands quite a bit of the language started describing what Peggy was really like. So it seems like she has the right to treat people of another race unfairly and not equally as the others who are Caucasian in the therapy room. When my cousin repeatedly told her that doing a certain activity was becoming to much for her shoulder and elbow to handle she just looked at her and snubbed her! What the hell is that, you are supposed to help people and listen to their concerns! As my cousin finished with her last session today I looked over a paper that she, herself should of answered the questions, NOT Peggy writing down what she herself as the therapist thought. What kind of place is this, some joke, all because of one therapist who seems to have some sort of problem with another race. But, I would like to thank Kat for helping out the best she could with my cousin. You're awesome Kat!!

My husband came to STARS after a major stroke. He received excellent care from his physical therapist Kailey and by the time he left, he was walking independently and well on his way to recovery. He also received excellent care from his occupational therapist Heather. She gave him exercises to do that retaught his brain the things he needed. By the time he left, he had regained almost all of the function he had lost. He saw a speech therapist Colleen for a short time, and she helped him develop memory skills. I would highly recommend STARS as a place to recover from stroke trauma. I will always be thankful for their care of my husband.

My Dad had a stroke last year that took away his speech and left impairment on his right hand, right eye and right leg. We've been going weekly to STARS for about 4 months now and are very glad for it . Our therapist team is AMAZING- shout out to Kailey, Colleen, and Heather! It's scary and frustrating not knowing how to help out with our Dad's disabilities, but with our therapist team we have hope and a plan. We see positive changes moving towards recovery as Dad gets help in the clinic and we implement what we learn at our sessions at home. You guys are an answered prayer, thanks for all your work with my Dad!

A freak episode left me temporarily paralyzed and with long term spinal cord issues. My therapist, Karen, has been working hard at helping me regain as much function as possible, keying in on each next step along the way. Not only that, but after being misdiagnosed by my neurologist, she is the one who noticed that my symptoms didn't match my diagnosis and gave me the knowledge to empower me to push for a correct diagnosis. Five stars!!!

I just finished my voice therapy with Suzanne Neidermyer. I don’t have enough adjectives in my vocabulary to describe my outstanding experience with her as my therapist. She is very caring, professional, encouraging, helpful, and simply a pleasant person to be around. She is clear what your goals are and what you must do to accomplish these goals. She makes it clear you can contact her at any time if you have questions or need help in any way. I did contact the her a couple of times with questions and she came back very quickly with the answer. I could not have asked for a better person to orchestrate my therapy, with a gold star result. She is top rate in my opinion. Also, every person I encountered in the office was pleasant, helpful and always had a smile.

Do not trust this program especially if it's for what workman's comp. This was part of my Rehabilitation to get back to work and instead of helping me it made things worse on me. The physical therapist Pat does not listen nor does she care about your health. I had developed a hernia after complaining that the exercise was I was doing was hurting me. Instead of working with me got to save to work with the insurance company what caused me to have to file a lawsuit against the insurance company. 2 years later I'm still not back to work full time and have to have a hip replacement and shoulder work done. I'm not saying that they are responsible for the extra damage it was part of the accident. But when it came to being in my corner they chose the insurance company. One of the most horrible ran programs I have ever come across and needs to be shut down. You're supposed to be there to help people not make things worse on them. Do yourself a favor if you're referred to this program run away as fast as possible you'll be doing yourself a favor.
