Stacey Drew is a gem among health practitioners. She helped two of my children to form skills they will use their whole lives. The space she has created is so much fun with so many different opportunities for therapeutic modalities. My children absolutely begged to go to occupational therapy. She handles all the insurance which is such a large task it was greatly appreciated. I feel very grateful that Dr. Stacy was able to help my children.

Trying to get help from Starburst Therapy delayed my son getting speech therapy. I was referred here by Kaiser to help my son. Eager to get my delayed child the help he needs, I left many voicemails. After 4 voicemails were never returned, I tried going in person to ask to schedule an appointment. Even though I spoke to Stacy Drew (an owner), I was never called. I went in person a second time to ask for an appointment and spoke with Stacy Drew again. Only then was I called and tentatively offered a day and time. I was told I would be called the following Monday to confirm. When this never happened, I finally called Kaiser to get a new referral and was told numerous other people have sadly had similar delays because of Starburst Therapy’s communication. They are unable to take on new clients but are unwilling to communicate this in a timely and respectful fashion. If you are also a concerned parent trying to get your child timely therapy, go elsewhere.

My son started working with Deborah for past year and I have to say, what a wonderful experience! As you can imagine, having an only child through the pandemic is tough. Developing social skills was an afterthought for us, little did we know that just our little guy spending more time with adults would hinder his social skills. Being referred to Deborah from our pediatrician, naturally my wife and I were a little apprehensive, but the reality is we could have been more naive. From the beginning, Deborah displayed incredible compassion and empathy towards our son and really met him on his level and develop a comprehensive program to help develop his social skills and auto regulation. We are blown away every day at how much progress our son has made. He looks forward to his sessions and we really feel as though she is an advocate for him. we would highly recommend Deborah!

Deborah at Starburst who worked with our son for hypotonia is an expert in her field and provided top-notch therapy to our son. Not only does she have a wonderful personality, but she is extremely knowledgeable, skilled, and our son thrived and improved under her care. The facility is clean and the large space they use is filled with amazing equipment to help children with all sorts of physical disabilities. Our son loved going there and there was never any hassle dropping him off. I highly recommend Starburst Therapy and wouldn’t go anywhere else because as a parent you want the BEST for your child and this place is the BEST!

We've had a wonderful experience with Deborah. Our two year old child was diagnosed with low muscle tone and SPD. We came to her so concerned about the road ahead. Through targeted core/muscle/sensory work he grew in leaps and bounds eventually "normalizing" in these areas. In addition to being a skilled therapist, she has the soft skills of genuine warmth, empathy and kindness that children pick up on and gravitate towards. My child was so excited to "play" with her every session. We've worked with several therapists over the years and she's head and shoulders above the rest.
