Dr. Patrick is great, he listens and checks up on you at least once a week. George is awesome and funny. All the crew is great including fronk desk ladies! Two thumbs up way up!

This was my first experience with Physical Therapy. Pat and his entire are so professional and knowledgeable. They helped me feel better and taught me so much. They’ve put me in position to continue to get better while at home as well. I didn’t expect to love going to PT and really care about every single one of the those in the office. Pat did great putting a dream team together. 💪

Flexible with appointment availability, the physical therapists and assistants were way nice and helpful. Very attentive to their patients! If it weren't for their sweet (but uninformed) receptionist who greatly misadvised my cost, or their extremely rude billing department who lacked any sort of empathy or personality whatsoever, I would give 5 stars. Long story short, when I was told I'd pay $150 total for appointments, it ended up $700+, and I'm extremely bitter at how I was treated by them. The provider is great, just make sure you don't count on their team's help with dictating charges prior to proceeding.

My physical rehabilitation was for a left shoulder surgery performed in late Dec 2012. I had previously used Sims in Santa Maria after a 2003 right shoulder surgery and this time around I interviewed owners and inspected most all the physical therapy businesses in the Santa Maria area. I liked what I saw at Star and also liked what I was told by the owner and physical therapist Pat Wayland. Today was my last day and I currently have a full range of motion and was pleased with the strengthening regime used to stabilize the shoulder. During my treatments there I also observed how well the therapists and supporting staff worked with other patients and they are well trained and will modify the treatments as necessary to obtain the best results. Additionally, I feel each member of the Star staff is likeable. While that may not be of the greatest importance, it nevertheless makes for a pleasurable environment during the sometimes uncomfortable rehabilitation process. The equipment is adequate and in good working condition and there are enough work stations to minimize any delays. For my shoulder rehabilitation, it was perfect and there are no negative comments warranted. Thus, I highly recommend Star Physical Therapy for shoulder therapy and based upon my personal observations, feel they do an outstanding job rehabilitating a variety of other ailments.
