They are top notch. I have been going to Tina for a while and she is extremely knowledgeable. Her help has been invaluable in my improvement. Recently I have had Cheryl--and she has also been excellent. I really value the these ladies expertise as well as their approach. I was referred to this clinic and could not be happier.

My PT was great and so very helpful. The scheduling department, horrible. Took weeks after I sent in paperwork for them to get back to me. They kept scheduling appts for me without ever contacting me to see when I was available. Such a bad experience here. I would have loved to keep seeing my PT but it shouldn't be that hard to just get an appointment.

Love the staff here and how they treat me. I've been very pleased with the progress I've made working with them. They've taken everything into consideration when treating me. . .versus just looking at the knee, for example (or whatever body part you're there for). My experience here has been very positive. I think I've been a somewhat difficult patient, with a lot of issues. They're always positive and have helped me to remain the same. It's not been easy.

I had to physically walk in to get my appointments. Jo, the owner, seem to be in the wrong career, maybe he should have been a mechanic, judging for the grease still visible under his fingernails. He bent my fingers beyond all bearable pain threshold, when I swore in pain he became offended and cancelled all the rest of my appointments. He did not offer any other therapy as the previous assistants had. Btw, I said s…t. Gee, I feel sorry for the rest of people who work there, what an ego maniac! 😳

I just completed my last PT session today and I felt I needed to write a review because back in February I hurt my back and could barely walk, let alone pick up my kids. I was in so much pain, my doctor finally sent in a prescription for PT to Stanwood Camano Physical Therapy. It was hard to get an appointment at first because they were so busy. The front desk staff were all very nice to help me find appointments though. My evaluation was done by Joe, which I later found out to be the owner. I felt he sincerely cared about me as a client and was doing his best to help me. I felt very optimistic about being treated by him. I also worked sometimes with Joe's assistant, Jen and she was so friendly and caring as well. Overall my experience has been great and I felt they always met me where I was at for the day and once I was able to do more exercises Joe was ready to throw out a lot of helpful exercises. I am truly greatful for Joe & Jen and their help in getting me back to my life, family and work.

I saw Joe and Cheryl 16 times over the course of a few months this past summer for a knee injury. I was hesitant at first as I didn't know what to expect but was put at ease pretty quickly on my first visit. They know their stuff and it shows. They helped me regain strength in my knee so I can keep up with my young kids, which I am extremely thankful for. Before I started my visits, I couldn't even go up and down stairs without being in pain. Now I'm back to doing aerobics on a regular basis and just chased my kids around a pumpkin patch without any pain today. I will forever be grateful for their patience, their constructive feedback on my assigned exercises, and their willingness to meet me where I was at both physically and mentally. They were my cheerleaders, even on my worst days! They varied my exercises once we felt I had gained some strength, and Joe even showed me different ways I could get up and down from the floor with my toddler, and how to correctly pick things up off the floor with a bad knee. I finished my last visit feeling confident that I could keep gaining strength and move on from my injury on my own (though I do miss going in!). Not only did we work on my bad knee, we also worked on my good knee to make sure I didn't turn out lopsided, and eventually moved to strengthening my core so that I wasn't putting extra work on my knees in the long run. I think that people forget that physical therapy isn't going to be an easy stroll through the park. It's going to take time, commitment, and it's probably going to hurt or be uncomfortable for a while. You have to work hard to get to your goals and there's no magical pill. I can confidently say that Joe and Cheryl will help you get there, you just have to be willing to work for it, too.

DON'T GO HERE FOR AUTO ACCIDENT CLAIMS I have an open auto accident claim and did a few sessions here before I found out my insurance visits were up for the year. They refused to continue treatment without me paying out of pocket. This would have been fine, except they couldn't give me pricing. They said one day it may be $120 ish, the next could be over $200. Obviously when paying out of pocket this matters. So, I discontinued treatment there. This left a balance of just over $500 dollars (small potatoes for this situation) on the account. My self as well as my attorneys have been in regular contact with the team at SCPT throughout the process. A month and a half ago, they threatened me with collections. My attorney reached out and said please be patient, demand letter is almost finished. They replied saying they don't accept third party payees and the balance would go to collections regardless - if not payed in full in 2 months. I offered good faith payments to hold them off and they declined. The owner would rather get less money and damage my credit than wait to be paid in full from a legit claim that is wrapping up. Unbelievable!!!

I unfortunately had very poor experience at Stanwood Camano Physical Therapy. I'm not really sure whether Joe is a good physical therapist, he may be, but make sure you put Joe first in your life if you want to work with him. Needing to adjust your appointments around your work schedule did not work out for me. I only saw Joe once. Due to the character limit here I can't give all of the details, but if you want to see the whole story from my perspective I was able to leave a full account of my experience on Yelp. The short story is I showed up for PT today and the receptionist told me at their desk that Joe had cancelled all of my appointments. I was upset by this and began crying. Joe later showed me a print out where their system showed a no-show appointment and I explained that must have been due to the 'waiting list' appointment which never called me. Joe told me the best thing for me to do today would be to go home. He said he would be happy to continue working together but that he didn't want to discuss what happened in the past. I asked if he wanted to hear any feedback regarding the scheduling policies which landed us here and he said 'I think I've heard enough from you today'. I feel humiliated and certainly not cared for. I do not feel as though Joe cared very much about my well being or how his decisions impact my life and my road to recovery. I do want to add that one staff member (Jana) was very kind to me when I was sobbing in the waiting room. The way you treat people matters, thanks Jana for your kindness today, it was very much appreciated.
