I’ve been through a lot recently and have been in pain, trying to navigate my referral process for a week just to get in to see the orthopedic doctor. Ms.Keisha J stepped in to help and made a huge difference. She efficiently took care of everything and helped me navigate the process I had been struggling with. Ms. Keisha , you are the type of person who truly makes an impact. Your listening skills and patience were exactly what I needed during this challenging time. It means so much to patients when they’re already going through difficult situations. Thank you for your efficiency and kindness!

Dr. James Bowman has been caring for me for a while. He has replaced both of my knees: September 12, 2023 and January 2, 2024! He has been wonderful! He's a good listener! Even before my first surgery, he recommended I go to therapy before hand. My PT, Ray Stotser was, I mean is because I'm still seeing him is awesome! Thank you Tina, she was always understanding when my paperwork was wrong or needed to be completed. Diana, is also a very kind person. All of you have made my experience one to remember! Keep up the great work!

Dr James Worthen has replaced both of my knees. He did an awesome job! His bedside manner puts him high on my list for doctors. And knowing that he is a practicing Christian just makes him that much better. I HIGHLY recommend Dr Worten!

When I first met Dr. Bowman, I was a little nervous and I had my guard up. After he performed my hip replacement surgery my guard started going down and I started trusting him. After my last surgery which was a total knee replacement. I started trusting and becoming more comfortable with his demeanour. Dr. Bowman has a very strong personality and you have to be strong to accept him. As of today, I have developed a good relationship with him and I trust his judgment when it comes to my health.

Fantastic patient care. I appreciate the honesty and competency of Dr. Worthen. We had no idea what was going on with my knee... he immediately diagnosed the issue and came up with a quick plan of action.

My first visit to the clinic was with Dr. Lal. She was absolutely wonderful. She found my issue and gave treatment options right away. I had a follow-up scheduled for March 28th. I canceled do to Covid. I have attempted to reschedule at least 8 times. The office staff is totally lacking and unhelpful. I just can believe it! Everytime I call they forward me to a nurse. I have to wonder exactly what the office staff actually does to receive a paycheck. I have been forced to seek another Dr. at UAB because I am in a terrible situation and need additional treatment. I managed to get someone on the phone. No appointment scheduled. She connected me with the office manager who never returned my call. I am blown away at the lack of professionalism. I even attempted to contact a patient complaint department. Apparently there is not one in existence. The patients who actually are able to schedule appointments must know something that I don't! Never again will I ever have any part of this hospital, clinics etc. I wish that I could leave no star at all. They do not deserve anything!

Dr. Worthen is the most down to earth, likeable surgeon I have ever met. He's willing to listen to your issues, spend time making sure he understands the issue and isn't in a rush to send you out the door. He's also great at his craft as well. I have yet to have a less than perfect experience with him or his team.

Called back 5 minutes after arrival. Saw doctor very quickly. Wonderful experience with him ….. made me feel comfortable and I knew he was concerned about my problem. He explained everything thoroughly and showed my MRI. He answered all my questions and didn’t make me feel rushed. Experience with rest of staff was excellent. All were friendly and helpful. Entire experience was above and beyond great.
