Very pleased with the care I received for pelvic floor physical therapy. In the past, I have done private pay for pelvic floor therapy due to not having insurance-covered options. However, I was really impressed with my PT, Jenna at this location. She has great bedside manner and is very skilled in treating pelvic floor disorders. I met all of my goals and she gave me practical tools and exercises I can use to maintain my progress. I felt the quality of my care (which was only the cost of my co-pay) was comparable to the private practices that charge $200/session. Knocked one star because it took 3 months to get my initial appointment. Highly recommend seeing Jenna for your pelvic floor needs!

Overall, St. Jude Centers for Rehab & Wellness gets a 4/5 from me. Admin gets a 3/5: Depending on what insurance company you're with, billing can take a while. Scheduling... is a nightmare. Be prepared to get your physical therapist's direct phone number to (re)schedule appointments if necessary, or just be a very patient person, and call the appointment line multiple times a day, 5 days a week. The PT room itself is very clean and well-organized, though. My physical therapist (Scott Rogoff) gets a 5/5 (10/10??!) from me! What initially brought me in was a sprained ankle - and he's fixed my ankle up -- and more! Be prepared to be pushed, but in a fun and encouraging way!

I have been to court and Buehler for years. St Jude’s rehab is a great disappointment as all the do is hand you a print out of the exercises I already know and do. Plus it’s my lower back and she worked on my thorasic area for hands on hopefully next week will be better or it’s a waste of time and money for insurance company.

To enter the building for physical therapy do not use the front door; this entrance is for the cancer center. This is not clear when you arrive so you will have a lot of extra steps if you enter thru what looks to be the entrance for your physical therapy appointment. I only went one time because I didn't feel more visits would be beneficial to me so I can't say where you should enter; I just know it is not the front door you see entering from Imperial. Also, they seem to be of the mindset of "Masks forever" and continue to act like we are still in a pandemic and make you wear the face masks and all employees do too. If you do not have perfect hearing and a fondness for being told how to run your life by wearing a mask almost 3 years after the COVID pandemic started you will be irritated. The place is huge and seems impersonal and depressing. I was assigned Philip for an ankle issue. My impression was that he didn't really listen to me but had already put me in a box based on his perception of me and was not open to alternative ways of treating fractures like I had done..cryo therapy, no surgery, no cast, physical therapy that focused on strengthening other muscles in the leg to support the ankle as it healed which takes time; an integrative treatment as opposed to the typical cast and be immobile for almost 2 months which is treatment used since over 50 years ago and which leads to weakness, misery, weight gain, isolation and all kinds of issues related to being sedentary. I had rejected the old fashioned treatment modalities and instead did integrative physical therapy which I started as soon as inflammation subsided, combines with professional cryotherapy during the healing period and finished with stem cell injections. Phillip seemed judgmental and just kept saying how many visits with their office my insurance would pay for..and of course the decades old approach of giving patients pages of printed exercises which I rejected. If you never do any type of exercise and do not use a computer or phone this might work for you..but in my case it wasn't worth the time spent. You can just search YouTube and find some stretch and strength exercises by physical therapists and chiropractors. Some good ones for seniors are Bob & Brad and there are countless other channels with great videos with explanations. They have do-along videos and are quite effective. My issue was wanting to strengthen the left ankle 3 years after I broke it. I found out on my own that using swim fins while doing my usual form of exercise, lap swimming, has helped immensely with strengthening all of the structures needed to stabilize the ankle..hip, core, quads, hip flexors and IT band as well as calves and hamstrings. I had told Philip that lap swimming was my main form of exercise and he never mentioned this easy add on that would resolve my issue even though he was the "ankle specialist" or so I was told. I discovered it myself.

The dr wrote a referral to this place. I set up 4 sessions, 2 per week for 2 weeks. I started my first session with the evaluation, which the therapist seemed uninterested in. The therapist printed a few exercises off the internet. My first impression of this place was, crowded and rushed. they want you to be there 15 minutes early, then they are always 10 minutes late. I have blue cross p.p.o. so I thought the price would be $30 a session. they couldn't say how much it would be. I had 6 sessions an then looked at the bill so far. I had 2 more sessions scheduled, then canceled after seeing my bill had grown to over $1700! I still have foot pain and am out a lot of money! I would never wish this place on anyone. A tip to the uninformed...make sure when you go to physical therapy, you make sure its billed as office not facility. I am going to try Coury & Buehler next they seem to have good reviews. Providence is a money machine!

Providers like Susan Noguchi really disgust me. We went to get our son speech therapy through our insurance, and we informed her that the school district is evaluating him as well. We had an appointment set up for sessions after the evaluation. We came today for our appointment and it turns out she dismissed her case. She told the front lady that the case was dismissed. Why would we go through the evaluation process by you and not get services? She proceeds to call my husband to explain and gas light him that this how they usually handle evaluations. He informed her this was not communicated, but she refused to apologize or take any sort of responsibility. He wanted to get services for our son, but she kept pushing for us to go through the school district. We informed her our scheduling doesn’t work with the district services. She THEN proceeds to ask him how he can make it to speech therapy sessions (which is in the late afternoon for 45 mins). So so so disturbing… we wouldn’t want to work with a provider who takes advantage of our insurance by “evaluating” him and then try to deny services. It’s so sad people take advantage of a vulnerable group. Either she needs to work on her bedside manner or switch professions.

I went in for physical therapy because I was having knee pain. I didn’t feel like the treatment really helped my situation. This review is for the high cost of the services. The physical therapy visit cost was much higher than seeing the medical doctor. I wished I would have asked about the costs before proceeding or the costs should have been displayed. I tried calling Dana at the physical therapy office to discuss the charges but have not received a call back. I would give this review zero.

I was overall satisfied with the service provided for Physical Therapy here initially, however, their billing practices are quite shady. It took over 5 months to receive my first bill for services in the month of January. Then after finally receiving a bill, I was made aware that I was being double charged for every visit. For two months of service this amounted to almost $2000 out of my pocket. I have followed up countless times and never once has a representative from St Jude business office followed up as promised. It turns out their explanation was that the charges are for each 15 minute increment, however, I never spent more than 15 minutes with a Therapist. Had I known I was being charged by a 15 minute clock, I would not have been so understanding when the therapist was 5 or 10 minutes late to work with me, nor would I have been so understanding when the Therapist had me wait on the table while he also worked with a second patient on the table next to me. If you are going to charge $96 dollars for every 15 minutes, that 15 minutes should be complete dedicated to the patient being charged. In my experience, this is very shady billing practices and most likely is only allowed to go on because most bills are paid by insurance who do not know what really goes on in the office. I would NOT recommend this Rehabilitation Center to anyone unless your bills are being paid 100% by insurance and you don't mind being taken advantage of.
