SSM Health Day Institute in O'Fallon IL is a superior level of care for Occupational, Speech and Physical therapies. My husband is a patient there and in one month we can see the extreme advantages of the therapy. The knowledgeable and personable staff are superior.

After having my mom receive physical rehab at several places SSM Health Day Institute is by far the best. They're serious about occupational, physical and speech therapy, providing her plenty actual, practical rehab hours per session. The building is well-lit with plenty windows and a bright environment. The staff are dynamic, happy people, obviously well-trained professionals who greet mom by her first name and make her feel included and engaged the whole time. The therapy is working. Mom, who was really down and depressed when she started leaves her therapy sessions with a positive attitude and enthusiastically tells me stories about all the things she was able to achieve and the great interactions she had every day on the drive home. Highly recommend!

All your staff is so talented, patient oriented, and energetic. What a wonderful place to come for needed help! A special shout out is very deserved for the first employee I see each day. That is Micheal, the bus driver, who is so careful with his charges. He insures their safety by continuously requiring his helping hand on their gait belt, keeping them in their seat until their turn to disembark and assisting their movement into the building. Truly a highly motivated employee as is the entire staff.

I experienced a stroke and was referred to the Day Institute by my inpatient rehab therapists due to my steady progress. I was eligible for transportation to and from the O'Fallon location for OT and PT services. I find all staff to be professional and personable. All the therapists are easy-going, engaging and encouraging. Activities are challenging enough to help me reach my specific needs and goals but are also creative and fun enough to keep me motivated. I must admit I'm tired everyday, but I continue to make progress and feel stronger after only one week! Plus, family involvement is encouraged. I highly recommend this facility for a well-rounded recovery experience.

My husband, Art Jacobs, has had a very rough 4 months. SSM Health has helped him immensely. He is walking much better, his speech has really improved, and occupational therapy is amazing. All of the therapists are so professional and caring. I know that when I drop him off for the day, he is in great hands. I do not worry about him. They make sure he takes his medications and eats lunch. He does not like missing a day with them. We highly recommend them for you or your loved one.

Amanda has kept Ed motivated and moving. He has been wearing ankle weights at home to strengthen his legs. 😀

SSM Day Institute in OFallon IL is fantastic! ALL the employees are empathetic, professional, knowledgeable. They work well together...all of them...from Day room to Physical therapy department, occupational therapy department, speech therapy and the case manager! They all encourage all the patients to reach their full potential! As they work to encourage patients to reach their full potential, they are very safety conscious! The world needs more kind people like these employees!

The therapies are designed for maximum improvement without over taxing the patients' current abilities. Everyone here is friendly and a joy to work with.
