SSM Health Day Institute - Lake St. Louis Day Institute

I cannot say enough about the amazing staff and therapists here. Their caring, compassion, and support helped me through a really tough time. They take care of you physically, mentally, and emotionally. With their hard work and dedication they gave me my life back and I will be forever grateful. In particular I want to thank Kara Lippmann, Sky Darryah, and Karen Price for everything you have done for me. They are true angels and they work miracles!

I can not say enough good things about the therapists & team at the SSM -LSL Day Institute. I attended from Jan-Aug learning to walk again & gain strength & mobility after another round of cancer & spinal surgery. The care, compassion & dedication to me and other patients was amazing. I felt like part of a family there & this team I am so grateful for. The awareness of what a patient needed or struggling with was great. I came in a spinal wheelchair with total spinal precautions & left walking with no device, accomplishing several things I did before all this happened & now able to do again. A creative & dedicated group of individuals that strive to help each patient is what I found at this location. I worked with a lot of therapists during my time there & all communicated with each other & me to target goals & keep moving forward in my recovery. I am forever grateful - a BIG thank you for all you did for me.

This was my first time in rehab. The therapist here is some of the best people around. They know how to motivate you with the brightest smile and warm words. Of course rehab is what you put into it. It can be a very big mental hurdle but they are there to catch and support you. Even if it’s not your therapist they will help you in all your needs. If you are ever in need of therapy this is the place to be.

After a stroke I was weak all along the left side of my body. My speech was impaired,my mobility was a problem and I couldn't use my left hand. In two short months I am able to walk, talk, and use my hands again. The therapists are so positive they never let you down. I recommend this facility to anyone who needs therapy after a stroke.

Oh, the stories I could tell... But, they would all be positive. What a team: caring, compassionate and, most importantly, knowledgeable! I highly recommend the SSM Health Day Institute at Lake Saint Louis.

I highly recommend the day Institute at Lake Saint Louis. You can feel the healing atmosphere when you walk in the door. Rehab is hard work. You only get out of it what you put into it. And the therapist here will encourage and motivate you to push yourself to recovery. They are caring and try to make something that is hard to do, fun. They say there are Angels Among Us and I believe they are here. The only thing not the best, is there is a lot of down time in the schedule. There are activities to do during this time that helped. And a few jokes too.

Wonderful staff, absolutely love them and the help they provided. They do an amazing job at helping their patients to getting back to where they used to be. I am so grateful for them. Thank you so much for everything you did for me.

Without their help, I wouldn't have ever learned how to walk again after a serious illness. I am forever grateful for their knowledge and moral support during a difficult time in my life. Thank you for all the hard work everyone does at this location!
