SportsMED Urgent Ortho Clinic

Everyone was so nice. Patient & understanding when I explained what was wrong & the details of what lead up to me being there. Allowing me to take my time; which, was super slowly! :-) Even though I do not like having to go to Huntsville, AL (live in Athens, AL), it wasn't that hard to locate. Facility was super nice & clean.

Sportsmed urgent care was so helpful! Everyone was friendly and office was very clean. The NP, Jeffrey S. and brace shop went above and beyond for us even right at closing time.

I injured my knee going up & down ladders. I heard it crack, then it swelled up to twice its size. I went to Sports Med Urgent Care. They drained it. Gave me some medication. It’s almost back to normal. I couldn’t walk without crutches. Thanks team at SMUC!

Reception staff very polite and helpful. Nurse did vitals, asked questions, immediate x-rays. Too long wait for Dr to maybe be in room 2 minutes. Rushed out while I was talking. Then waited another 30 min for someone to get me from room and check out. I see various Drs of Sports Med Team. Never unhappy, have confidence in them. Not so much with this visit .....

Was referred to another place by ER. Heard horrible things about the other place so gave SportsMed a try. So happy I followed my Gut on that. Everyone from the sweet lady at the desk to the doctor were absolutely amazing, kind, friendly, professional, and took the time to listen. They treated my injury instead of taking the ER approach of here is some pills. Come back if you’re still hurting. You will not regret it if you choose them instead of the other place.

The service I received at Sportsmed Urgent Care was superb. The medical team was awesome and provided me with the utmost medical care. They were genuinely concerned with what I was experiencing, They presented themselves very professionally and were extremely accommodating. I would highly recommend the Sportsmed Urgent Care.

Thought I had sprained my ankle, turns out broke a bone in my foot. Glad I had it checked. Everyone was great at the clinic. I was checked in, had an xray & was evaluated quickly, this was so much better than the emergency room. Would definitely recommend.

I used their SportsMed Urgent Care facility (no appointment necessary) on Whitesburg. I had an issue with fluid build up on my knee from a previous injury. I got there a little before 8, filled out my paperwork and was back with CNP at 8:10. About 8:25, they already had me xray'd and prepare to drain my knee. I was out before 8:50. Everyone was great, courtesy and very professional. DEFINTELY a great experience!
