Have going to Sports Fit for some time. The staff and therapists are excellent. Brandon and Gabe are the therapists working with and do a great job. They are very helpful. They listen to my questions and concerns and always have helpful answers. I highly recommend Sports Fit Marina Del Rey.

I have treated at several (some might say many) physical therapy locations in my life. I can say without reservation or hesitation that SportsFit (and specifically the Marina del Rey location) is one of best physical therapy offices in Los Angeles. My entire experience from initial referral, scheduling, initial intake, and treatment have been stellar and focused entirely on healing the right way. I want to specifically give kudos to a few folks. First, Kat at the front desk. An absolute joy of a human. She allways greets you by name and has a warm smile. she is incredibly efficient at getting you scheduled and looking ahead to make sure that you don’t miss out on scheduling with your preferred PT. Second, my PT Brandon, is hands-down, the best physical therapist I’ve ever worked with. He is extremely knowledgeable, kind, funny, and thorough. From my very first intake appointment, I could tell that Brandon cared not only about doing his job, but he cared about me as a person. I was not just another patient. I treated with Brandon prior to having my cervical surgery as well as after, and I am confident that my recovery would not be as good without Brandon‘s guidance and support. Last, but not least, PT aide, Gabe. He and Brandon work together as a team. Some days I would start with Gabe to work on some warm-ups and exercises and then transfer over to Brandon to do therapy. Other days I would start with Brandon to do therapy and then transfer over to Gabe to continue my exercises. The wonderful part is that they work seamlessly together and Gabe is very knowledgeable, super personable, and always positive. I know it may seem out of the way to go to Marina del Rey for physical therapy. I live in South Los Angeles, and I can tell you it is absolutely worth the drive. Also, they offer early morning appointments (starting at 7 AM - which works really well for me) but they also offer later afternoon evening appointments as well. if you’re looking for a physical therapy place, do yourself a favor and call sports fit, and give them a shot. You won't regret it.

I have had the need to go to PT on several occasions over the past few years. I love this place. The PTs and their assistants are really knowledgeable and REALLY CARE about getting you moving and feeling better. The front desk staff…Kat, Jonathan and Lyndsay are terrific. I don’t know how they keep all of our appointments on track… it always amazes me. And they are so kind… never show any frustration with all the complicated appointment scheduling. Erik Nelson.. my main PT and clinical director is wonderful. I don’t know how I would have gotten through my medical issues without him!!!

SportsFit in Marina Del Rey is fantastic! It’s a caring family like experience in which a Physical Therapist evaluates problems which are logged into a computer, continuously updated & shared with the other professionals during the personalized recovery process which integrates Yoga, Pilates. & massage. I am an 80 yr old ex-athlete who has lots of physical issues. I have experienced numerous PTs as well as Yoga, Pilates & massage professionals. The staff at SportsFit in Marina Del Rey is the best, most knowledgeable & caring professionals I have experienced. They have taught/trained me to take care of & handle with grace the experience of aging. I can not thank them enough!

Came to PT following an ankle fracture. Complained to PT several times about knee feeling weak 2 yrs post patella fracture and 10+ week in ankle boot. He advised me that I didn't need to see orthopedist about it. Several weeks after starting PT my knee gave out and I fell, fracturing my wrist and re-fracturing my patella, ending up in surgery with a metal plate in my wrist. I do not recommend this place.

Grateful for the PT received from Dr. Hal, Lilly, and Freddy to treat my shoulder pain. They are skilled, and quite knowledgeable. Most impressive. Thank you

Had a great experience at Sportfit Marina Del Rey! My PT, Tyler, was amazing and i am so thankful to have had him as my PT throughout my herniated disc back injury. He was knowledge, compassionate, patient and kind and made me feel like I was not alone in my journey. I also loved doing pilates with Beth and working with Kat the front desk! They're all amazing!

I've been twice, both times for knees injuries. The first was for a muscle strain, and the tests and exercise regimen given out were helpful. Recently I went with a knee injury caused by a car accident. We went through the same tests to determine the relative strength of each leg - having to repeat the tests on the injured leg because results weren't recorded first time. This meant straining the leg badly. The run is that a doctor sees you then a therapist takes over to demonstrate the exercises. By the end of those demonstrations, my knee was in such severe pain I could not even attempt them. The session stressed my knee so that I was returned to a position of severe pain - it reversed recovery I had made and is taking weeks to return from. I was seeing a therapist in the UK before leaving and from his gentle work the knee was strengthening. The nature of the injury was clearly not understood this time. I had made a second appointment which I cancelled and when they asked if I would like the doctor to make a follow-through call I said yes please. I never heard from them. If you have a muscle strain then their system might work for you. But it seems like a one-stop shop selling you a contimued exercise / stregthening program and is not nuanced to take in other injuries.
