Dr Frank Chen is very knowledgeable and friendly. I am fully satisfied with him. During my visit today, he explained the x ray results to me and checked my right leg fracture conditions. After that, he clearly gave me the guidance on what I can do and can’t. His nurse practitioner is also very nice and knowledgeable. His office is in building D. There are multiple buildings using the same address and you need to realize this to avoid being in wrong building. The building D is also called as “Clark building”.

Dr. King is the best, hands down. He successfully repaired both my ACLs, and had me back on the horse in 6 weeks. That was in 1998, and I have had zero problems with my knees, and I climbed to Everest Basecamp and to the top of Kilimamjaro. Kilo is 20,000 feet high! I am also a professional horse back rider, and have ridden to countless championships all over California. My knees have never bothered me! On top of this, he repaired my shoulder recently. He was the only doctor that actually cared about how much pain I was in. I was living out of town at the time, and the awful doctors in Sacramento could care less about my pain and discomfort. They also totally misdiagnosed me as well! Then I went to Stanford, and the doctor was even worse! I will never go anywhere but PAMF! Dr. King is truly the superior doctor when it comes to orthopedic surgery, etc. He is also a wonderful person that genuinely cares about his patients, he has a fantastic bedside manner. I am always comfortable with him. Dr. King is also accompanied by Laurel and Nicole, two amazing doctors as well. I feel like I receive the same level of care when they are filling in while Dr. King is in surgery. Once again, they put the patient first and accommodate you in any way they can! Nicole is especially an impressive lady. You just are in the best hands over there at Palo Alto Sports Medicine. Don't bother going any place else, especially Stanford! Dr. King and his team are the best around!!

I broke my wrist earlier this year from a snowboarding accident. I was treated with a reduction procedure up at the resort by a pro orthopedist. The orthopedist at PAMF wasn't so pro, however. When I first got there, he suggested getting surgery. After I got a second opinion that said I didn't need it, he concurred. Then, when I got my splint off (after swelling), he squeezed my broken wrist trying to get a snug fit on the cast, apparently. He also left this in a slightly bent forward position (looked like a limp wrist). The bone healed quickly, but to this day I have a really hard time twisting my wrist to the way it used to be. I went to see an upper extremity specialist at Stanford afterwards, who said that the orthopedist at PAMF did a very poor job of setting it in a cast. I am not sure if I have legal recourse for my now strange looking and functional wrist, but I will never go there again.

Really bad customer service with doctors feeling your forms when it comes to unemployment is ridiculous how they react with the forms I have never had a problem .. With other doctors but when it comes billing insurance damn sure they're on top of that have to take me almost a week to follow my doctor around so I can get the forms filled out on the edge to lose my job and still no forms available for him to fill out . Very disappointed with Jeffrey Walton

Wonderful group of physicians... I highly recommend bringing you're entire family. They have a strong connection to Stanford as well.
