Sport and Spine Therapy of Marin - San Anselmo

I can’t say enough about my positive experience at Sport and Spine Therapy of Marin. Everyone I encountered was pleasant, kind, and informative. The therapist and technician are so great. They took the time to explain the purpose of everything they did with me and had wonderful exercises for me to do on my own. Some of which I will include in my continued self care. I would highly recommend this place to anyone in need. You will not be disappointed.

The team at Marin Sport and Spine has been great. Michael Mottola and the staff have helped me enormously in my recovery from knee replacement surgery. Their services are highly appreciated!

Kristina and Jenn were great. Unfortunately the admin staff did a really poor job of handling my insurance. What was suppose to take 2-3 days to get authorization for more sessions turned into months of waiting with zero updates from anyone. I called almost daily and no one seemed to care or have any understanding of the issue. I was always promised a quick call back and the calls never came. In the end sport and spine failed to figure out the issues and I eventually went and found another PT provider. For a business that’s so critical to people's rehab after surgery I was really disappointed with the lack of urgency and accountability.

I have been treating by Michael Mottola several times and later on with his assistants. Michael has the extraordinary treatment method that with his magic touches takes away my chronic lower back pain. He coordinates the best exercises for me and tell his assistants what kind of exercises they need to give me. I’m very happy with this sports and spine clinic very much. I’m hopeful that my pains will be diminished soon. Thanks to everyone in this wonderful clinic. K.G.

My recovery has been magical thanks in great part to the welcoming therapists and staff at Marin Sport and Spine. Mike, Megan and Lisa were all very concerned and caring in helping me reach my goals. Each in their own special way was firm yet gentle in guiding my progress without being overly aggressive. PT isn’t without some discomfort but all were very aware of my pain thresholds and none of my sessions ever set me back for the next. I’m at 4+ weeks out from total knee replacement surgery and after five therapy sessions I am at 0 degrees extension and 120 degrees flexion. Jackie (front desk) was also a saint helping in many ways, not the least of which was scheduling all of my sessions. As far as I’m concerned, at MS&S these guys are all MVPs in my recovery!

Physical therapy requires a smart, educated and tuned in therapist as well as a client wanting to do the work, and they really provide a path to regaining your strength and freedom in movement. The team is great - they really meet you where you are: if you are curious about your mechanics, they love that, if you want to talk about your week and adventures, they love that too! Their procedure is solid, as well - examination/therapeutic hands on work, followed by a session with a trainer. I highly recommend.

Excellent experience. I have been coming here quite a lot for two different problems. The therapists are excellent. Would highly recommend it
