I've been at Spinezone for several months. The first set was more challenging as they had some staffing issues, so I wasn't always able to get appointments. However, for my second set, I was able to schedule most appointments all at once. Going 1-2x a week has been a dramatic improvement in my progression to get my back in a better place. The facility is so clean and there is a large variety of machines. They have a strength test machine, which most places for PT don't have. They have a website that emails you daily exercises, as well as a wellness/meditation component. I will likely transition to their maintenance program in the next month and feel confident it will only further my progress. I can tell I am much stronger than when I started and my back has been in increasingly less pain. It's such a relief, physically and emotionally.

PT Janni was excellent in analyzing what was needed. All appointments were easily acquired. My back issues are improving as I continue doing the exercises 5 or 6 days a week.

In the beginning when the old staff worked here the service was amazing!! I genuinely enjoyed coming. Now they have new staff who aren’t pleasant in any way. The new therapist are not attentive and when I told one I go to the chiropractor she got offended?? The receptionist made it seem like me scheduling for my next appointments were such a bother for her so much that I just decided to cancel any future appointments. Unfortunately I will be taking my business elsewhere. I would suggest trying a different location!!

Front door staff is rude and unprofessional. The staff at the front desk would text me instead of calling me to inform me that my time with them was up. When I tried to explain to them that I still needed more help they responded in TEXT messages and stated " you can't stay in physical therapy forever ". Unprofessional, lack of empathy. I'll never go back to them. They only care about collecting $ , not patient care and well-being.

The physical therapists at Spine Zone were very kind, so I almost hate to rate it so low, but my experience from a professional standpoint was poor. For one thing, they never properly diagnosed what was wrong with my back pain, so I spent weeks doing the wrong sorts of exercises and spending money on each session for it. Additionally, I saw a different therapist each time I went in, so I didn’t feel like anyone there had a good understanding of me or my pain experience. Each session felt rushed and like it was a blanketed approach to lower back pain—not tailored for me specifically. Lastly, the front desk and billing process was scattered each time I went in. Systems usually weren’t working and I was improperly billed off the bat.

This place is absolutely phenomenal! I've been in PT for 4 months and this is by far the best facility with the best people I have ever been to. It's a predominantly female staff which makes me really happy as a woman. I thought I'd need surgery on my back for a slipped disk, but they fixed me up. They helped me get feeling back in my numb toes, learn to walk properly again and fixed all my back pain. Ask for Tess as your therapist, she's the best!

Everyone was very friendly and professional. Great at answering questions during my time and helping my progress. Exercises were super helpful for me. My only criticism is that scheduling sessions can be very difficult sometimes.

SpineZone in Mission Valley Saved me from Steroid Injections! As a last attempt to help with constant back pain from an S-curve and twisted spine due to scoliosis, my PCP referred me to SpineZone. I am ever grateful to Makenzie Farnham and the tools she has provided me with. After participating in several PT programs over the years through my insurance; SpineZone and Makenzie were the first to see me as a person and human vs. and appointment to be handled. The progression of exercises decreased the pain in my neck and back consistently over time and my posture has dramatically been rehabilitated. Through my 18 PT visits, 2 nutritionist visits, being part of the mindfulness program, and starting the maintenance program has drastically improved my life and body. Thank you SpinzeZone team for your support and kindness over the last several months!
