I cannot recommend Spinal Balance enough. I originally chose them based on location (an easy commute for me) but now, if I ever require PT again in my life I will make sure I come here. Vincent is incredibly personable, caring, and simply put - excellent at his job. I came to him for a herniated disc and now after 6 weeks, I am feeling excellent and confident in my abilities to walk and exercise again. He provided at-home exercises as well that complimented my appointments. Please please please do yourself a favor and see Vincent!

I experienced superb care. Vincent Romviel is the best Physical Therapist that I have encountered. Knowledgeable, compassionate and kind he has patiently guided me through therapy for an damaged and painful knee. He takes time to educate his patients about their injuries, and his expertise helps them to return to their regular lives pain free. He deserves 10 stars!

I came to Spinal Balance with sciatic nerve pain and Vincent helped me get back to being pain-free. I chose Spinal Balance because it was on a short list of recommended places in DC that my doctor provided me. I was able to get an appointment without much trouble. The results were better than I was expecting. Between the care I received at my appointments, and the advice he gave (some of which wasn't intuitive to me), I definitely saw the results. He said at the first appointment that if I followed his advice, I'd get better, and I did, so I can't argue with that. I hope I won't need more physical therapy in the future, but if I do, I will definitely go back to him.

Vincent Romviel (Google has his named spelled wrong) is the best physical therapist I've ever had. He can absolutely help you, and if he can't, he'll be honest enough to tell you. I came to him with a shoulder 5 years post surgery that had very limited range of motion and strength, and he's been honest about the prognosis since my first appointment. He cares about your issue and how it impacts your life, and he is very realistic about treatment (and how to avoid the bad kind of pain!). He is located in a very central place (which is what first got me in the door) and is incredibly flexible about scheduling. He has been very helpful with my insurance so that they will cover my appointments. I have improved so much with him, and I have never once walked away from an appointment thinking that I injured myself (as can happen with overzealous physical therapists). Vincent Romviel respects your limits, explains what he's doing, and balances knowledge of general wellness with technical physical therapy so that you actually do get better. Also, word around town is that he has the best heat (for your injuries) in the business!

I am lucky enough to have found the same PT person I had many years ago for a neck problem. Now, summer/fall 2016, V Romviel treating me for broken shoulder rehab. He is the consummate professional. He really knows what he's doing. The staff is friendly enough, he's quite prompt, and he has a good sense of humor behind a façade of professional restraint. I have utmost confidence in him and am making rapid improvement. I would recommend him without reservation for all types of orthopaedic rehab even tho it's called Spinal Balance. If he can't do it, he'll be honest enough to tell you. As far as I'm concerned, he's the only PT specialist I want to be treated by. ##

Go here if you're struggling with sciatica pain or recovering from a herniated disc. YOU WON'T REGRET IT. Vincent Romvile is by far the best PT I've seen for this specific issue in DC. I came to him in 2015 after the MRI came back with a L5/S1 herniated disc and left his office 3 months with ZERO sciatica pain and strong enough to engage in strenuous sports again including rock climbing, hiking, and running. However, after moving a sofa in the summer of 2017, my sciatica came back and another PT (closer to my office location) messed up my back even more (boo!) and didn't even think twice about my symptoms. I came back to Vincet Romvile at Spinal Balance months after the incident and felt dumb to have considered going anywhere else. I will NEVER make that mistake again. He's my go to PT and recommend him to my closest friends and family. LUMBAR HERNIATED DISC TREATMENT PLAN Note, recovery time varies but here is a sample of my recovery timeframe to give you a better idea of what to expect. First, he sets up a private consultation to identify main pain points then treatment begins. Each session for me included 30 minutes of electrotherapy and an amazingly relaxing electronic back massage then followed by 30 minutes of tailored PT exercises. I started coming in 3x/week the first two weeks then went down to 2x/week after a month and then 1x/week after two months. By the third month, I was sciatica pain free and able to engage in more strenuous sports.
