Speech Works Pediatric Therapy

Their management is absolutely horrible! Our child has been going to this location for months and we have had concerns with his therapist. We brought up our concerns on week two and were told they would explore if there were other therapists and get back to me. They never called me back so we just stuck with it to see if things got better. After a couple months and continued concerns, I called back regarding my ask and she explained that she would explore other options once again. Later that week we went to therapy only to find out that our child was put back on the wait list with zero communication and had to address the therapist about why we had issues which should have never happened. I called management back and they told me that apparently they did tell me he was being pulled from the schedule and did not apologize for the lack of communication or situation we were put in. For the record, I was never told he was being pulled from his current schedule. My understanding was that he would stay with his current therapist until they found him someone new so that he was still practicing to some extent and in the routine. When I stated this, management became argumentative and ultimately hung up on me while I was still talking. If I knew this is how they operated, I would have never trusted them with my child. The sad reality is that the one hurt in this situation is my child who is now having to start completely over since they do not care and hung up on me. My hope is that professionals in this field are in it because they care about helping children and making a difference. It was very clear that Speech Works does not function with that mentality.

We were referred here about a month ago. I have called 4 times, given the same information over and over. Always told someone will call me to set up an assessment and no one ever calls. When I follow up they have no record or my child.

Speech Works is great. We have been to different locations based on our needs and we are extremely satisfied in each location. Professional staff and techniques enabled the fast evolution. Definitely a great environment for those who need such service!!! Keep up the great work Speech Works team and thank you for everything you do with care.

I have never dealt with anything like this before so calling around and getting quotes and finding out information was a little overwhelming, not to mention the cost I was being quoted from most people. I reached out to this office (mostly because I had read a bad review on another office closer to my house) and I spoke with Heather! She was incredibly sweet and understanding! Not only did she patiently listen to all of my questions, but she was so sweet and replying! She informed me of a low cost option and even offered to send a referral knowing I would get a response faster that way! I am extremely thankful for her time and recommendations!
