I have taken my 2 year old daughter here twice, once for an evaluation along with her first speech session. We were assigned with Kelsey. The evaluation went quite well, I had signed and given all information to the receptionist. It mostly consists of the therapist playing toys with the child. After the evaluation I was thrilled to start my daughter for her sessions. Once we had our first session Kelsey went straight to playing with my daughter, mind you we were 8 minutes late, therefore Kelsey had only worked with us for 12 minutes. The sessions are supposed to last 20-25 minutes. We went in at 11:08AM and the session ended at 11:20AM. The last 5 minutes Kelsey was supposed to communicate with me what she sees my child can improve on or any things that catches her attention. She did not speak to me at all regarding what she thinks my child needs or what she recommends for me to work on her with. I was told by CVRC the sessions were an hour long. I thought 1 session for $100 was fair enough, but once our session ended I was confused because on the papers I signed at the evaluation neither Kelsey told me how long sessions lasted. They should really make it priority to do so. Kelsey wasn’t speaking to me at all other than walking us to her room, telling me I’m doing great at narrating when my child plays and that’s it! She did not tell me our session was done! She just told my child time is up and it’s bye bye time. I thought we were either done with playing or going to another room hence CVRC told me it’s an hour session. I walked out but came back in the room and asked Kelsey is that it? The sessions are this short? She then says, and I quote “Oh no, if the sessions were that long your child would hate me” I thought that was quite inappropriate. I asked if I can have more time that I can pay more, but she stated that every session for every child is 20-25 minutes long. I had just thanked her and left, since my child was upset and wanted to still play. I then called and spoke with one of the receptionist and she said she can speak with a manger and see if they can increase the session to 30 minutes but I just didn’t like the way Kelsey treated us as clients. I terminated services after that. I now go to Simpson Speech and everything I expected from a speech company they exceed in their services! I say please speak with the therapist here and make sure they better communicate with parents and use the scheduled time correctly.

My child has been getting weekly speech support for a year now and all of our family has noticed such a big difference in her language development! She loves Ms. Kelsey and has gotten so much support since starting. The office is wonderful and we always enjoy our weekly visits.

My daughter had previously received speech services in Fresno and refused to speak to multiple different therapists at all over several months. She now sees Malik & he has done a great job getting her talking. He provides helpful feedback at the end of the session so we can continue working on stuff at home.

My experience with Speech Pathways has been outstanding. They consistently work around my schedule and do their best to accommodate us. My son’s speech therapist, Allyssa Stewart, has been instrumental in his progress. After just two sessions with her, he became significantly more confident in his speech. Allyssa's understanding that every child learns in their own way has been a tremendous support in my son’s speech development. I am incredibly grateful for her expertise and dedication!

I had services with them and just finding out that they discriminate patients with medical. the front desk person is the worst and they can cancel and reschedule as they please but if the parent reschedules and/or cancel we are the bad parents. when they found out I had insurance they kept trying to get me to submit my insurance so that they can get paid more. I think we as parents need to get smarter and when they drop a patient in need WE as parents can file a suit of abandonment of treatment and discrimination. remember they have to document everything and legally you as a parent can ask for your child's documents and they should also proof how many times they canceled and how many times they rescheduled and they except us parents to remember appointments.

Mr Malik is such an awesome teacher! The whole staff is welcoming, my little one has been progressing his speech at an excellent rate and I could not ask for a better place to bring my little one to.

We had a fantastic experience. Our son is now finished with speech therapy and has no deficits. We appreciate every therapist that we had the pleasure to work with. Ms. Monika and Mr. Jose especially!

All they care about is money. They make you pay full price until they get payment from your insurance. I was taking my son because he has articulation problems and his low muscle tone in his mouth, and I was wanting him to get help so he could speak correctly. The speech assistant notice me these problems. After paying $400 for an evaluation, the speech therapist said he was fine. Then I missed 1 session because I was sick with a fever and didn’t even know what day it was. They charged my account that day for a no show fee (which is fine) but I had no idea it was going to be taken out that day, I was going to pay at my next visit. Nothing but red flags that show it’s all about the money and not about the kids.
