Spectrum Physical Therapy

IMHO I found Spectrum Physical Therapy to be a great place to rehabilitate from my surgery. The clinic has a professional, safe, relaxed and humorously entertaining atmosphere. The staff was always focused on my improvement, and I received consistent treatment no matter which therapist was treating me. I’d like to thank Dave for his management style that makes SPT so great. Patrick, thank you for the personal interest that you took in me and my therapy. Will, thank you for recognizing when the increase of challenge was necessary and the encouragement you provided. A special shout out to Ethan, you helped prepare me for my surgery in a way that I believe shortened my recovery time. I highly recommend Spectrum Physical Therapy if you find yourself in need of PT.

David and his staff are phenomenal. I received expert, friendly care, and the entire crew was extremely helpful when needing to make changes in my appointment scheduling due to conflicts. Perhaps most important was that my orthopedist was very impressed with the treatment planned laid out by David and the results that I obtained. I highly recommend Spectrum Physical Therapy.

Cudos to David Doyle at Spectrum. I reluctantly tried physical therapy for a lower back issue. From the first phone call to make an appointment…to working with Dave,..I was impressed with his relaxed, thoughtfulness and professionalism. Dave recommended many exercises, which over a two month period, helped eliminate the horrible pain that I was experiencing. The entire staff are warm, friendly, and professional. I’m so grateful to have had the chance to go to Spectrum Physical Therapy in Waterford. The staff are all so kind and welcoming, the facilities are clean, and you are treated like family. The approach Spectrum uses is so helpful in your recovery. First, because of the amazing care they give, they really listen to your needs and come up with programs tailored specifically for you, but also because of the great dynamic all of the employees have with one another and their clients. From Melissa and Nancy at the front desk, with their incredible customer service, to all of the Physical Therapists and the uplifting care they give, they know that everyone coming is hurting, and they do all they can to make your time with them as enjoyable as possible. Come ready to laugh! The first day I started, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but my nerves were quickly put aside by the receptionist Melissa’s sweet welcome and PT Patrick’s kindness and humor. I was so encouraged by the way Patrick took the time to listen, evaluate, walk through the exercises with me, and strike up fun conversations, which always helped the exercises feel easier. As I continued on in my sessions, I also got to work with PTA Will, who is also so kind and informative. Will always took the time to explain how each exercise would help, make sure that I had proper form, and would demonstrate different ways to do the exercises to see which way would work best for me, which I really appreciated. The exercises and stretches Patrick and Will taught me brought so much relief to my symptoms, I loved getting to learn so much, and their kindness, humor, and encouragement made it so that my PT sessions were always a highlight of my week. When it was time for my sessions to wrap up, Patrick and Will made sure that I was set up for success, and created a couple different workout programs I could do from home and the gym, which continue to be a huge help. Patrick and Will really know what they’re doing and genuinely care, and I’m so happy I got to work with both of them. I was able to go to Spectrum for about four months for physical therapy and they were always consistently amazing. Spectrum Physical Therapy is top notch! From the first phone call with the receptionist, Melissa, who is friendly and efficient to the excellent care I received from Patrick Coley, the physical therapist, I knew that this was a well run facility where I would be taken care of. David Doyle, the owner, has surrounded himself with quality, professional staff and they all work well together. The central location in Waterford, CT made it convenient to get to sessions and the interior is clean, well-equipped, and organized. Patrick designed and implemented a physical therapy program that allowed me to increase my strength and stamina as I healed from a hip replacement. He communicated well and encouraged me to do my best. Home stretches and exercises were provided that were clearly explained and illustrated. I felt welcomed each time that I walked in the door. I highly recommend Spectrum Physical Therapy services to anyone in need of physical therapy for any reason and I would not hesitate to use their services if the need should arise in the future. 5 Stars for Spectrum Physical Therapy (SPT) in Waterford I have been going to SPT for many years. Not because their PT was/is bad, but because it was/is great! I'm like an old car, I need regular maintenance. Don't you go back to the same auto mechanic if you trust them and they do incredible work? I know I do. The receptionists are very friendly and efficient for phone calls and scheduling. Scheduling appointments in advance provides continuity for your treatment. If a follow-up call is necessary to either you or your insurance company, they will do it without being asked. Wow! I have worked with Dave in the past and most recently (last several years) with Patrick. Initially, Patrick will have a chat with you concerning your issues. He listens very attentively, he cares about your ailments and creates a personalized therapy for them. He is very professional, caring and personable. He made sure I had a routine I could use at home to enhance my life style. Other reviews state it is a fun atmosphere to attend, I agree. I highly recommend Spectrum Physical Therapy in Waterford, CT.

It was a great experience. The therapist is very nice and knowledgeable. The woman that I made the first appointment with was absolutely great. She made me feel comfortable and in good hands. She took care of everything for me from contacting the referring doctor to dealing with the insurance company. I have 26 employees, and believe me, she is a keeper!!

Receptionists were helpful, friendly, and flexible. I worked with two physical therapists: Patrick and Will. Both have exemplary skills, personalized exercises to promote best results, and amiable personalities. David was supportive, knowledgeable, and personable.
