My son truly enjoys his time with Kristy. We have noticed great changes with his anxiety at home and school after he started seeing her regularly. I believe my son feels safe talking with her about any issues he may be experiencing. I appreciate that she involves my husband and i too so that we can continue to practice her recommendations at home. So thankful to have found Kristy and Specialized Therapy For Children and Families.

I first spoke to Kristy on the phone upon the referral of a friend. She very patiently took time to let me articulate my frustrations before setting up our first appointment. Kristy exudes positivity and immediately made my wife and I feel welcomed and comfortable. Her kind and empathetic personality immediately took the edge off the tension and apprehension we were feeling. I found it helpful that she took time to listen to and get to know each of us privately, before bringing us both back into the room to speak together. I feel like marriage is still work, but she gave us some tools and a more positive outlook for the future.

Our family is so thankful to have found Kristy. She immediately bonded with our daughter and has been an amazing outlet and support system for us as we navigate changes in our family dynamic/unit. Kristy is sweet, caring and honest. She gives great advice and truly cares about our child who absolutely adores her “Miss Kristy” time! We highly reccomend her!

Helped me get through two of the worst times in my life by listening, caring and giving me the strategies and tools I needed to heal and more importantly, grow from the experience so I can avoid the pitfalls that led to my struggle in the first place. I am currently a freshman in college and have been seeing my therapist Kristy for the past couple of months. I genuinely have never had so much support in my life. I always feel like I have someone to talk to who will give their honest opinion and advice and who will never judge me, a judgement free zone. I have definitely had a few rough patches throughout this past year but having a constant place every week has definitely helped calm the storm. This is definitely a place I would recommend to all!!
