For many years my granddaughter has been receiving therapy at Specialized Speech Center. She requires a great deal of patience and can be a challenge. The center is the only place she willingly attends. She is treated with respect and has made steady progress. Everyday I thank the therapists for their attentiveness to her needs.

This place is great! I called to see if they had any availability and was able to schedule my child’s evaluation for the next day. They took care of the insurance part and less than two weeks later my child was able to start sessions. Mrs. Tiziana is amazing, 100% recommend. She’s kind, understanding, knowledgeable and very patient. From the evaluation to the sessions my child was very comfortable with her. I’m very pleased with my child’s progress. Definitely give them a try!

This is a great clinic to bring your children in need of speech or occupational therapy. It is staffed with trustworthy, knowledgable therapists who are dedicated to helping every child that walks in the door! 5 stars!!

I went to this place to have my daughter tested. Then I had to get it approved by the pediatrian and then with the insurance. She finally got enrolled for two times a week Monday and Tuesday starting September 16th for half hour sessions. I called today to confirmt he time because I couldn't remember if it was 2:30 or 3:00 and the clueless woman on the phone told me that my profile shows as "waitlisted" even though my daughter already started therapy last week! How do you get waitlisted after you've been enrolled and given a schedule. She actually had a nerve to tell me to call tomorrow and see if I cn get her in. Shut the front door, she had an appointment!! Highly unprofessional and not recommended.

OMG! 5 stars will never be enough after all the love, care, dedication, and support our family has received over the past 6 months. It's SO MUCH MORE THAN A SPEECH/OT CENTER! It has become a community for us parents going through the care provided to our children. Andrea is our OT, and she is just fantastic. But we have met so many wonderful clinicians that we trust. The administrative team is nothing short of AMAZING! If your child is in need of this type of care and stimulation, PLEASE FIRST UNDERSTAND ITS OK, AND TRUST THIS TEAM TO CARE FOR YOUR BABY. We have nothing but the biggest appreciation. Forever🙏🏻💛💜🌟🤗 Sincerely, the family of A. Satterfield

If you are military or a veteran with military insurance (or any insurance that is out of the realm of popular insurance providers), I would suggest finding another place for services. Transferred here from another center in order to be closer to home and etc which was a mistake. I took my toddler here for speech therapy, the overall service was good however we saw most of the progress take place at home. The billing department is my main ick with this place. After being told the services weren’t being paid, I had to do the job of the billing person (Gloria) that was suppose to investigate while this is happening. After being on the line with my insurance and the billing person, we discovered that there were critical errors on the documents submitted by this place. The crazy part is if I had not call to investigate this, they wouldn’t have even known (clearly they were just kept submitting claims and not calling). After having this insurance for years, we had never had this issue with any service providers nor our past speech therapy office. Having family members in congress, I enlisted the help on my local congressmen office to push the claims for payment ASAP. After their investigation, I found out not only were they not taking care setting up the process for payment (I was provided a log of the communication with the military insurance provider and the billing staff), there was no regular communication to rectify errors on their part. The other critical errors all point to the billing associate not following up with correspondence and over creating critical errors with claims that were submitted when all they had to do was say they weren’t qualified form the start to bill this type of insurance (the military always pays). Can you imagine doing all this for it to come back as something on the providers part for why the payments are being process? And the only resolution is to pay out of pocket for something that is fully covered through the insurance and resubmit claims (basically do the work for them). As someone that works closely with local veteran and military associations in the area, it’s not worth the headache please go elsewhere!

Great Center for Learning! Mrs. Sami's is a awesome Speech/language Therapist! Mr. Carlos is amazing Occupational Therapist. Thank you for all your hardwork!! Ms. Gloria in the front desk is the best! She always makes the best Coffee espresso shots! Great place for kids to learn good behaviors , learn how to pronounce words correctly as well as for Dads and Moms to get that Coffee boost while waiting for the sessions to be completed. Thanks for Everyone!

After my child was a patient over a year, the office staff think “it’s a fad” when your child has a delayed diagnosis such as being on the Autism spectrum. Filed a complaint with AHCA, FDOH and ADA today with my concerns. Please take your business somewhere else where they do not discriminate against disabled children.
