Came for my 3 year old who had a concussion from falling from the playground. It's 05/22/2024. She improved to where she is back to normal but the pediatrician recommended coming to a specialist. They had us show up a half an hour early after we had filled paperwork out online. They are doing renovations to the new office. It seemed like we were the only people there. They brought us in and had her do tests with balancing in this big room where these kids were walking around and watching a movie on a phone loudly right next to us. Maybe the doctor's kids? Big distraction. And then we were put in a room for a half an hour. I walk out of the room to go to the bathroom and signal that we are here. They were having a meeting with the staff. Noone came into the room even after they showed me to the bathroom. No, "Sorry, we will be right with you." Why schedule a patient at a time you are having a meeting? I had time to write this review while at the appointment. They came in at 45 minutes and said the doctor is running late and we can start doing tests so we aren't waiting to long. I don't mind waiting if there a lot of people being treated but there was noone else here. At an hour waiting they wanted my 3 year old to do physical exertion tests and by that time she wanted to leave. Not too mindful of her age. They keep having her look at a screen(tablet) to do tests when screens are bad for children in general and even worse for kids who have a concussion. Also we do not let our kids use screens at home. They are very unorganized, and unprepared for child patients. Waited it out because I care about my daughter but this was an awful experience for us. We felt very unimportant. We were here 2 hours without the doctor seeing us at all. Dr. D came in and apologized saying he got tripple booked but we never saw anyone in any of the other rooms. Well maybe make a comment to your staff to not triple book you because you care about your patients. He gave his shpeel saying she is fine. You could tell he didn't have much experience with children. The Doc said, If you dont have symptoms after 4 weeks you probably dont need to see a specialist. Wish I had known that when making the appointment. Could have saved alot of time and $$$. Anyways, they do not value their patients time. We won't be back. I do not recommend. Updated may 31 Dr. D reached out to me by email the day after giving a 1 star review. He was very nice and apologetic. The scheduling issue has to be fixed. Getting booked 3 patients at one time is just wrong. The patients should not bear the brunt of those mistakes. Thank you for your email.

Visited their clinic on 1/30/24 and still have not been provided the exercises they told me they would give me to improve my injury despite 3 follow-up phone calls. I even left a voicemail with the Clinic Manager and have had absolutely no response. I also was provided my diagnosis on a handwritten piece of paper towel and there are no instructions or resources on how to do the imaging they requested. I also experienced very long waits at both check-in and check-out, but we've all become accustomed to that in healthcare. Overall, it felt as if I paid them my co-pay and they talked to me out of obligation and have no interest in actually helping me deal with the injury I'm trying to work through. As a high-level athlete, their inability to communicate what I need to do to improve my injury is impacting my wellbeing beyond the physical limitations. I will be cancelling my follow-up visit with them.

I have had the pleasure of being treated twice at SPARCC Once after a TBI (DV related) 3 years ago and most recently after getting struck and ran over by a car as a pedestrian last month while I was on vacation out of state. J.T., Mo, the list goes on and on. I appreciate the exceptional care that I have been so very lucky to receive both times. Thank you, SPARCC!

Came here on a recommendation after my PCP REALLY COULDN’T HELP me from an injury a year ago. Dr Minor checked my hip many different directions and knew within 2 minutes what was wrong. He used ultrasound to show me. I have seen multiple doctors for my hip problem and not had any real results until now. Thank you SPARCC

I couldn’t be more satisfied with the improvement of my health through the treatment I’ve received at SPARCC. Dr. Dusenberry is fantastic and is very attentive to detail and actually shows care when sitting down to discuss the patient’s needs. His staff members are also excellent as well. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone who is in need of their services.

If you are looking for a team that provides both clinically relevant and empathetic care for your needs you have found it! After being seen at other places for a history of other sports related and fitness injuries, SPARCC tops the list of being the best thus far. Everything from the check in process with the front staff, to the history forms, clinical exams and referral support, it has all been top notch. I truly believe they have a passion for helping their patients achieve their goals and that is shared among all their staff, regardless of who you will see. My case was not a typical injury but more complex involving other systems; after seeing both Leslie Streeter and Dr. Minor they came up with a care plan that was very individualistic and tailored to my needs. You will find that they are not only knowledgeable on the clinical aspects of care but also really know their stuff when it comes to the current research as it applies to medicine and improving outcomes. I appreciate that because it shows they always want to better their practice and apply the newest approaches to helping patients. A couple of times I needed to reach them both outside my appointment times to ask some questions to ensure I was on track, and both Leslie and Dr. Minor were directly available and answered promptly to what I needed. As I continue to rehab I am very grateful for their care and also the referrals provided. They work with some great physical therapists and other specialists in the community, so you will be in good hands if you need additional support. When I go to my appointments with PT we are in constant communication for what is needed next so you won’t feel like you are getting fragmented care like you would in other settings, often to the effect of, “do this exercise, hope it helps, see you next time.” The feedback loop among SPARCC providers and other specialists won’t leave you hanging as they are vested in your recovery. I would highly recommend SPARCC to anyone. They have treated me like family. That’s how health care should be.

Leila is a very good Dr. and definitely an expert at what she does. She pin points every little detail on the spot and makes sure you get the care you need. I recommend her to anyone looking for a good honest and caring Dr.

They have been absolutely amazing. I have had multiple concussions and have seen P.A. Jaden Bailey , Dr. Mo and Dr. Minor and enjoyed every visit. They have always treated me very well and I even got the opportunity to shadow Mrs. Bailey. I highly recommend to anyone who could use their services.
