Southern Psychiatry

I wanted to seek care at this facility but when I was seen by Donavan I explained I would really appreciate being put back on a prescription that I was on for 8 years. A simple no would have sufficed, but he went on to lecture me for 15 minutes in a incredibly condescending manner. I wanted to use this facility because it's closer to home and I take non narcotic medicine as it is and was trying to reduce my commute but he assumed I was some kind of druggy and lectured as I said in a very condescending way. Avoid this place not for their prescription policy but for their terrible interpersonal tact and lack of empathy. Terrible staff I doubt they can even handle a case load.

The NP that gave me my last exam thing was knowledgeable, but lacking in empathy and compassion. He also mocked one of my former Physicians and accused him of being a criminal. I found it intriguing how much he thinks he know without reaching the academic level of a Physician but assuming that he holds this level of knowledge. I'm also surprised at him knowing exactly how I feel without any idea of being a psychiatric patient. Empathy is the missing piece at this office.

Horrible experience. Had no interest in my personal issues. Insinuate that I was an alcoholic. And that all of my doctors were inept. A doctor with 40 yr of experience. It was Donovan who was inept. Just hideous. Never going back

I saw them for a long time, I thought everything was good. I called to reschedule my appointment because of my job. And they didn't pick up, I kept leaving messages to get called back. They never picked up my phone call after MANY attempts. I was on multiple medications, I had to figure out how to come off them. I could have caused serious bodily injury because of these people. I should have had my lawyer call them. STAY AWAY.

Very thorough, treated me with respect and established a support and treatment course immediately. Would recommend to anyone seeking a solid diagnosis and a knowledgeable practitioner. No sugar-coating, straightforward and has the ability to explain and produce documentation supporting treatment options. Very satisfied with my experience 10/10

Worst money grubbing place ever. Charged me for my copay 3 days before my appointment. Charging services before you receive them is ILLEGAL.
