Southern Orthopaedic Surgeons

I was directed here by the Nurse Practitioner from the Emergency room yesterday after injuring myself at work. They have what appears to be approximately 12 people working the front reception area but no one could help me with seeing anyone concerning my workman's claim injury. I was giving a number to a Carrie Clark who doesn't appear to answer her phone. She just takes messages and returns call when able. You can also email her. My Claims Specialist from my job hasn't been able to contact her as well. Why have one person handling all the workman's claim injuries? It's been empty for awhile but nobody has seen or contacted me yet. This process is awful.

They were timely and very nice. They were informative and caring. One of the best doctor visits I've experienced with my children. The doctor was compassionate and understanding. I highly recommend this facility

I saw Josiah this week for my followup from my knee surgery. He was very nice and explained & showed me pictures of my knee when I had the surgery. It makes you feel better knowing exactly what was done. Thank you Josiah & Dr Hooper (who also is great!)

I really think a lot of Dr Howell and his PA Chris Hoban. They both have excellent bedside manner and they seem to really care. Chris is excellent at giving shots in my knee when I need them. I like that they don’t pressure me to have surgery but let me know it’s an option when I feel ready.

My experience has always been wonderful. Leigh Ann and her staff are friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Southern Orthopedic Surgeons PT is my preferred choice whenever needed.

I recently went to southern orthopedic surgeons to see about getting my knee worked on. I know that everything is torn in my knee and I have had two other surgeons work on my knee. So I get my records faxed over to southern orthopedics so they can review them. I wait and wait about a month to find out that all the surgeons looked at my records and decided that they didn't even want to have a consultation with me to discuss other options, since apparently their surgeons do not have the know how to help me or at least guide me to someone who can. Also I'll like to mention that after a severe car accident that caused the injuries that I have mentioned in this post, that the told me flat out there was nothing wrong with my knee. I went to another surgeon after them telling me that and come to find out I had torn everything in my knee. I have had 2 different knee operations since the first visit of them telling me nothing was wrong with my knee. Sadly all of the surgeon in Montgomery have left me feeling defeated and completely helpless.

If you're like me, prone to always hurting yourself, there's no place like Southern Ortho! I'm about as clumsy as an adult can be so I've had plenty of experience with this office! Doctor Hopper is quite possibly the best doctor there is, anywhere, hands down! Now I know this is a bold statement but trust me! His "bedside manor", and genuine care are out of this world! He takes the time to listen and does everything he can to fix what's wrong!

Dr. Hester and the entire staff of SOS has always been helpful, knowledgeable and kind. I've been his patient for 20 years.
