Dr. Falakassa performed major spinal surgery on me in mid-February 2024. My healing was amazing, and the fusing began in 6 months instead of a year. He and his team were responsive and amazing. He gave me a new lease on life, and I am grateful.

Dr. Hawaii was kind and thorough with my knee replacement. He was always ready to answer my many questions before and after the surgery. The online patient portal that they utilize was extremely useful and helpful as well.

Dr. Falakasa is the most caring doctor I’ve ever had! At my very first visit he told me he could see the pain in my face. After months of primary care run around & ineffective physical therapy, I final felt SEEN and HEARD! He immediately rushed orders for a MRI (next morning) and by the end of that week I was scheduled for herniated disc surgery. I’m always confident I’m receiving the very best care possible. He always makes my care a priority & never passes me off to a PA. I’m now 6 mos post surgery & have had an amazing recovery. I am forever grateful. I read recently he has been named a “ Rising Star”, in my book he is a Super Star!!

I have had the best care for my knee and achilles at SCOI. Staff is amazing. Doctors really care. Sometimes you have to wait a little longer than I would like. but that is because the doctors attend to the needs of the patients..would highly recommend.

My experience at SCOI, from the staff at the front desk to the surgeon himself has been great. Everyone is friendly and extremely knowledgeable and helpful. If a problem arose and my doctor wasn't available, the Doctor's, surgeon assistant or office assistant are always available. The Doctor of course, would not hesitate to make contact as soon as he possibly could do so.

Dr. Bawa is the best!! He’s always so kind and compassionate. He has a gentle touch when he gives me an injection. Great surgeon!! His staff are always so professional and friendly.

I had left hip surgery last year with Dr. Hernandez and have recovered well. Then I tripped and fell on my right knee and thought I broke it. I waited a week to go in and it was just a little better, but still very soar. I was x-rayed and found no broken bones just a very badly bruised bone. I was given options as to how to treat and chose to just let it heal on it's own and do mild exercises. I am doing fine and am exercising regularly again. Dr. Eric Ferkel was very thorough and took his timed explaining everything in simple terms which I was very appreciative of! I have been going to SCOI for over 30 years and have never been disappointed. It sometimes takes time to get in, but I think it's the same everywhere now.

I'm loving "get well", efficient, expeditious, tho computer, feel a connection. Marc responds quickly, assuaging my concerns. Dr. Bawa checks frequently thru get well, I feel cared for, there is a little magic taking place. AND I'm walking pain-free, a miracle. With deep appreciation.
