My lower back pain was getting worse and worse from repetitive stress, work and lifting improperly over 15 years. It got to the point where I couldn’t tie my shoes or get into and out of my car without VERY sharp pain in my spine. There was pain shooting down my leg and my knees hurt constantly. I went to Dr. Z when a concerned friend forced me to go and It was one of the best things I’ve ever done. I was skeptical of Chiropractors. Dr. Zappala made me very comfortable and after a few visits he had me nearly pain free...I was able to travel to Alaska and won a World Championship competition!! (Only a week after seeing the doctor in very bad pain!) A few follow up visits and I am pain free, happy and loving life again. Dr. Z and Dr. Ren are very professional and really know their stuff. I’m forever grateful for them.

DR Z is the absolute MAN. Him and his team are next level and I would highly recommend anyone with any type of pain to visit DR Z. I have recommended co workers, family, and friends and everyone says the same thing... "This guy is AMAZING." Never in my life have I had a DR explain exactly to a tee what is actually wrong with me and how we are going to solve this issue, and then actually solves it for the longterm. I have been to him for back pain... hip pain... and my elbow. Every time he takes the necessary time to explain in detail how we are going to fix the issue and avoid it in the future. I am telling you DR Z is like MAGIC.

Dr Zapalla has been a tremendous help to many many of my patients over the last twenty years. His knowledge, ability, professionalism, and caring has been appreciated by me and my patients. He has been an important asset to the sports medicine community in Southern California for years.

Dr Zappala is the best of the best. My son, my daughter and I have sought out his help regularly over the last 10+ years. My daughter who is a dancer (including ballet en pointe) is especially grateful to Dr. Z for his remarkable expertise. I find him fast and spot on. I travel a great deal and carve marble. Dr. Z makes it all possible and pain free!

My son, my husband and I have been treated by Dr. Zappala over the past 15+ years. He is truly gifted in his arena of completely understanding the musculoskeletal system and how it functions. Over the years, Dr. Zappala has added additional healthcare experts to his team to provide the overall resource center to include nutrition, physical therapy, and even acupuncture. Dr. Zappala provides excellent care to his patients, he is eager to learn exactly what caused the problem to accurately apply treatment, whatever that may be … he is excited about his approach to medicine and helping others … what a great place to seek care.

Dr Zapalla is excellent. Able to quickly identify the issues, and go from there with appropriate treatment, or adjustments. I mountain bike a lot and unfortunately, the inevitable crash does happen. Dr Zapalla is able to get me back out sending.

My wife and I have been going to South West Health for years and we appreciate the Dr. Zappala's knowledge, skill, and dedication to his profession. I would heartily recommend Dr. Z for anyone looking for a chiropractor.
