They don't help manage pain well. She needs her medicine every 4hrs. They don't give it on schedule . I asked the cna twice and it's been about an hr. The nurse is on a break and has not been given her medication. My mom had knee replacement surgery. She needs assistance getting around because her mobility is limited . She needed to use to restroom and she was calling for help. No one show up. Finally someone passed by she told the person that she needed to use the bathroom. They went to tell some one and sometime later someone came to help her. I would not recommend this facility to bring your loved ones.

This place is a dump. Once again I have not received any dinner. The staff are abusive and short staffed offering nothing in regards to hygiene. They ignore you treat you like scum and then talk bad about everyone including each other. The social workers some how lost all my prescriptions I brought with me and the paper record documents on all of them then tried to put the blame on me for my situation. Their cruelty knows no bounds. They have no clue how to care for someone with autism and then treat you like you are the problem. A few of the nurses are so abusive it borders on criminal and oh ya once again I got NO dinner. A few of the staff are very sweet but only the few. This place should have been shut down a long time ago. It is rated as five star, what a joke. Many of the staff are clearly aware of the other abusive staffs actions. It is no secret to anyone how truly BAD it is here which makes being here so bad it's insane. Please if you love your family DO NOT allow them to be sent here. They tend to only post the good reviews leaving out the honestly bad reviews to make this place seem better than what it truly is. DONT BRING YOUR LOVED ONES HERE

SMPA is an amazing facility. Every staff member works tirelessly to accommodate patients & meet their needs. Workers have a lot to deal with and hustle to meet demands daily. From the positivity of Mr. Curtis, to the smile on Ms. Sapien’s face in activities, I felt welcome and accepted. Nutrition was wonderful & each meal was served hot, on time, and to the “no lactose” speculation I needed; I felt listened to. Doctor Farsheed kept in contact with my GI doc outside of the facility & let me know how to move forward with meds each day, Ms. Dean was an amazing advocate for me in contacting District to extend my MLOA so I could be home for an extra month, & Ms. Curiel listened to my needs & met them. Transportation was arranged for me perfectly whenever I had to leave the facility for an appointment. Daniel was a great transporter. Every counselor stepped up on my behalf. I was given extra PBJ sandwiches to tide me over in the evening & my blood sugar was checked 3 times daily to keep me balanced. I felt encouraged on a daily basis by everyone from the cleaning crew, charge nurses, night nurses, and beyond. As a night nurse, Sabrina even stepped up to handle my wound care. Jenn was awesome at wound care as was Rebecca. The level of professionalism at SMPA sped up my healing & I couldn’t say enough, in general, about how great this facility is. Go here and you won’t be sorry. Best wound care in the country. Shout out to patients, James Crawford & Terry Scott, also to my twin, nurse Aaron.

We took my father here after his hospital stay. Looking at the reviews our family was very skeptical about sending our father here. We are so happy we did. The staff was amazing. My father received the best therapy. The nurses and doctor in general were great. Everyone was super friendly and you can tell they really care about their patients. We want to say Thank you so much for taking good care of our father. If and when its needed again we are definitely going to take him there again.

Being apart of this facility has shown me that there is nothing greater in life but to show selfless acts. To be able to care for individuals who can’t care for themselves brings me endless joy.Creating bonds unbreakable and memories irreplaceable with each and every employee and resident. Working here has gave me endless appreciation and has unveiled my purpose and molded me into the individual I am today.I can’t thank South Mountain Post Acute enough for my priceless gift I couldn’t be happier anywhere else. For every employee thank you for your service, time and support in all aspects of nursing. I would highly recommend this facility.

Worst place ever. for the safety of your loved ones do not send them here. the care is horrible and the staff is worst especially the Case manager Danica. they do not return calls or e-mails not just to family but also to other case mangers involved with the loved one's medical care. 13 days post discharge and still the orders have not been completed nor the correct DME equipment requested. there is still a lot more to say and hopefully Ellen and/or Courtney address this issue. its sad when the front desk staff even acknowledged that Danica is horrible and known to not answering her phone or returning messages.

CNA are horrible, they treat patient’s rudely. When my father needs to be changed they take hours to do so, he is at point where he is getting bed soars. They don’t have bilingual staff and it’s hard for some patients to communicate, and they don’t seem like they care. Horrible place not recommended at all.
