A friend recommended Pam Nelson when I needed PT for my neck. I was treated with respect and professionalism from the start. The front desk staff is friendly and accommodating. Ms. Nelson and her assistant took exceptional care of me. I love the location with east parking, and the facility is clean and bright! My neck pain is gone, and I have developed healthier habits to keep it that way, thanks to Pam!

Excellent service! Very professional; from the office staff to my PT Greg. I looked forward to going! I had torn meniscus surgery about 6 weeks ago on my right knee. I just ended my time on Friday, 12/16. From the time I started to now, my knee and range of motion has greatly improved and is just about 100%. Greg was my PT and he was awesome! He provided a home routine to keep me working. I definitely recommend this company for PT!

I have used South Bay Sports Medicine several times over the last 10 years. They have always been pleasant knowledgeable and thorough with my therapy. Alan DeWitt is excellent. He takes great care in understanding patients needs and putting together a progressive PT program. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. They are great!,

Pam Nelson was the best physical therapist that I have had. She was caring and knowledgeable about how to treat my back. She healed me physically and emotionally. The staff was excellent. Everyone there was caring and professional in every way that you want your experience to be. I would go back if I find myself in need of PT again and would recommend South Bay to anyone needing PT help.

I chose South Bay Sports Medicine, as an experienced marathon runner having pain in my hip after a pull. I was excited to find out what my problem was, do rehab and get back to pain free training for an upcoming race. Sadly, from the first visit I felt like I was being compared with other patients who were "unable to walk 1.4 miles." Mike told me I had an issue with my SI joint, but kept mentioning I had scoliosis, which is not something that would have caused a pull in my hip and not why I was there. After the third visit he said he had fixed my back and excused himself from the exam room. Never asked if I had any questions and never treated nor mentioned my hip. I would have been fine had he said there was nothing he could do for my hip, and it should improve doing the exercises he gave me. I certainly was made to feel like I did not belong there since I was able to run, albeit in pain and certainly did not have any improvement in my hip. I would not recommend this facility if you are an athlete able to perform, but with an issue you wish to rehab.

Michael, 1 of the owners, & a Physical Therapist, was responsible for reducing my back pain level from an 8-10 rating down to a 5. His crew is knowledgeable and friendly. I went to South Bay Sports Medicine after each one of my 2 total knee replacements and they, Michael, got me completely mobile in 3 months.

This is my 2nd time to South Bay Sports Medicine (last time ~7 years ago). I have been to other PT groups over the years and SB Sports Medicine was hands down superior. I worked with Alan DeWitt this time and I appreciated the time he took to always explain the physiology. I felt the exercises he gave were right on point, and the staff in the exercise area always had eyes on and corrected as needed. Front desk staff was always pleasant and efficient.
