Sora Therapy

We brought our youngest daughter here for PT and speech therapy right around her 12-13 month age. She wasn’t eating great and refused to crawl or even want to stand. After one session of speech for eating, we were given tips and ways to improve this. Within a month she was eating normal. We started going once a week for PT starting in September 2023 and by January she was crawling and walking all over. Sarah was fantastic to work with and did such a great job with our daughter. Every Wednesday morning was a joy for her when we told her it was time to go to Sora and playtime with Sarah. She will be missed by us but we are grateful for all the help she gave our daughter! Great job by everyone at Sora, from reception to staff working with our daughter!

We’ve had several OT and speech therapists at Sora Maple Grove work with our children over the years, and had nothing but good experiences. Claire is patient and responsive to my children’s needs. She is a great listener and keeps us updated on our OT progress and goals.

We love Sora! Our five year old has been seeing Anna weekly for sensory concerns surrounding her feeding for a few months. In the beginning, her preferred foods list was very small. Any food that was not on that list wasn't even allowed on her plate without resistance from her. Anna uses play to reduce the fear that my daughter often felt around new foods. It's so fun to observe sessions and see the two of them interact. Now, she is willingly exploring new flavors and textures on a daily basis! She loves going to OT each week, and looks forward to telling Anna all about the new things she has tried. We are so thankful for Anna and the team at Sora! 2/6/24 update: Now both of my kids are getting OT at Sora. My daughter is still working on her feeding, but is also working on regular OT. She has progressed so far with her feeding and we are so proud of her! She is currently seeing Claire for feeding and Maddie for regular OT. My son started regular OT for emotional regulation back in May. He was seeing Claire and Maddie each once per week. This past week was an evaluation and they decided he has progressed far enough that he only needs to go in once a week now! We are so very proud of him! Claire and Maddie are both kind and caring. My kids love going to see them for their appointments, and that really says something! We have seen measurable growth with both of our children, and we thank Maddie and Claire for all they have done to help our family!

Andrea does MyOfunctional therapy for my son. She does an amazing job with my son. She is trying to get him to hold his tongue correctly since it doesn’t sit correctly in his mouth for speech. We were told to go see Andrea by our school because we weren’t moving forward with speech therapy as well as we should have. She helps him but he also has fun doing it. He has liked going every time we have gone. So happy to have found her so close to home to help him!

My son see’s Claire for OT, she is wonderful. Claire listens to any concerns & is so creative when it comes to coming up with solutions on how to handle/approach situations. He also see’s Andrea & Hannah for ST, they both have really helped him, as it is easier to understand him. It sounds like they all have found ways to make both OT & ST fun for him. We truly appreciate all of the wonderful staff here who have helped him grow in many ways. The progress is exciting and we are so thankful!

I worked with LeeAnn for myofuntional therapy to treat my TMJ and prepare for a tongue tie release. LeeAnn was so great to work with and made such a difference in my pain levels. I think we worked together for 2 months before my release and then about a month after the release. She would show me exercises for the week, and then I would do them a few times a day and then she would assess my progress and give me new exercises for the next week to work on. It does take effort, but it's really worth it. I'm so happy that I had LeeAnn on my team for this whole process. The whole team at Sora was so nice to work with.

Ellen, Sarah , and Andrea are great! Both my kids love when it's time to go to Sora. They both have come along way. My son is able to communicate at home a lot better. My daughter goes in for ST and PT and she is just doing awesome. All 3 ladies and staff thank you

My family and I are so grateful to have found Sora Pediatric Therapy! My kiddo has speech therapy 2x per week with Kaley who is super kind, knowledgeable, and absolutely amazing! The person who works the front desk with long dark brown hair is also super kind, and she always has a smile on her face. We've been coming here for a few months now, and it's always a great time. I highly recommend them!
