Sonora Physical Therapy

Gary Deacon is flat out the best physical therapist in the county! I have been to two others over the years and go limited results at best with either. My condition with a herniated disc was so bad I was certain i would have to have surgery. Nobody wants back surgery! He told me I was teetering on the edge but said if I would listen to him and do the prescribed therapy exercises religously I might spare the knife. Well, guess what? Almost 8 weeks in and quite a few visits and doing what I was told to do, I am much much better! This man cares about people. To many in the medical field, you are nothing but a number and a few bucks in the bank. Not Gary. He stays with you and on you to make sure you are getting it done! Still going to him until he says I'm good to go! You cant go wrong with Gary or the folks that work with him! They are great too!

The staff is professional, attentive, and do a good job overall. I’m just not sure they provide a service you can’t perform in your own, without paying their prices, reasonable as they may be. If you are planning on therapy, you just need to choose where, by all means go here. However, I probably could have saved the 8 weeks of cash I paid out and gotten the same results in my own. All I got out of it was stretching techniques I could have done in my own after the first visit, and a TENS device applied for a short while. Turns out those devices can be purchased online and would have paid for itself after two weeks. Point is that while physical therapy might be the way to go fir some people, I don’t think it gave me anything, at least not for my out of pocket costs.

Wonderful care Gary Deacon is the best in my opinion! I have been treated here several times now, they have a hot tub, private treatment rooms and much more.
