Soma Physical Therapy and Rehab.

George has been treating me for several weeks because of a sports related hip injury. The therapy has been a tremendous help to me. George is doing exercises with me to strengthen my hip and the muscles around it. He also gave me a exercise regimen to do at home, which has been critical to my progress. I would highly recommend Soma PT to anyone needing therapy for any type of injury. George and Costa are exceptionally trained therapists and really care about their patients. They have a brand new clean office space that is very welcoming to patients.

Everything about my experience with Soma Physical Therapy was terrific. Jim listens. That seems to me pretty important. He tells his patients what he's doing and why. That's also important. I went to Soma with spasms in my back, and over a few visits, Jim not only successfully treated the problem, he helped me to learn a handful of exercises designed to prevent a recurrence of the spasms. He was personable throughout the treatments, and his recommendations indicated that he understood what I could and couldn't do. Finally, when I was feeling much better, he told me he felt I'd had all the help I needed. "Call again if you have a problem," he said cheerfully. He could as easily have told me to keep coming back for months. I was impressed.

I saw Jim for acute spine and sciatic pain and he was very helpful both in teaching me ways to stretch and alleviate my pain, and also to work with my special case to find what works best for me. Quiet and calm place of business, ideal for therapy. I would go again in the future, if needed. :)

I have had only positive experience with Jim Rutenik and Soma PT. Multiple sports injuries and the inevitable consequences of aging have brought me to Jim and his associates. My view is that my life would be diminished and filled with painful days if had never meet these fine people.

I've done physical therapy at other places but when I came to Jim at Soma, I felt he was a big step above others when it came to helping my back pain. Highly recommend Soma.
