Sol Shine Physical Therapy

Lorena, with Sol Shine has been an integral part of my son advancing from not crawling, to now walking. He has enjoyed doing physical therapy with her and if there’s a time that he’s not really into it, she thinks of a way to make it fun. My son is non verbal but each session, he is sure to give Lorena a hug. To him, she’s more like a friend coming over to play than she is a physical therapist and I believe that has helped immensely in his progression. Adding an edit, a year after my initial review to speak upon how great our nearly two years with Lorena as my son’s physical therapist has been. My son is doing amazing with his gross motor skills and that is thanks to Lorena’s persistence and knowledge in getting him to do fun activities that aid him in building his skills. Lorena has become a friend who champions our son as much as we do and it’s just so appreciated.

We’ve been working with Lorena for about three months now and love her approach to our little one. She is easy to warm up to keeping our 16 months old engaged and really reading his cues. I also appreciated Learning about her continued education to work with cerebral palsy, it seem that Physical Therapy is truly her calling since she’s so natural at it. I just wanted the best for my child to improve his movement after favoring one side for a while and I really did get the best out there. I cannot recommend her more as she made my Concerns of my child’s development into a realistic goal, which was a huge comfort to me. We see changes literally every day. Thank you, Lorena!

We visited Lorena at her clinic and it was one of the most productive and informative physical therapy intensives we’ve had. She was thorough with her evaluation and very understanding of our daughter’s needs and goals. Thanks to her we have been able to learn so much more about how we can help our child at home and how to make the most of her PT when she goes in for her sessions. She combined functional and spinal stimulation and by the next two visits our daughter was already feeling more stable with her standing. Lorena and Sol Shine are amazing! There are three big reasons I highly recommend Lorena and Sol Shine for pediatric physical therapy. First: Lorena will get you results. My infant daughter is being seen for a gross motor delay and we are seeing huge improvements since we started working for Lorena. It’s such a relief to see her making progress and improving. Second: you can tell Lorena is passionate about helping children and really cares if your child if making progress. With the modern healthcare system sometimes I feel like just another number in a file. But not with Lorena and Sol Shine. I can tell from how she interacts with my child and that she does to go above and beyond that she is really passionate about her work and helping children. Third: Lorena is great at her job. She is knowledgeable, highly trained, and provides great customer service. She is always on time for appointments and very professional. Also, they have so many fun toys for the littles. My daughter has fun at her appointments and that makes it easier for her.

Lorena has been a bright light in the development of our son. He was born premature and has consistently been behind in gross motor development. We went to Lorena looking for support to help him learn how to walk at 19 months. Within 4 sessions, he was walking twenty yards! Lorena at Sol Shine Physical Therapy has been a great blessing to our lives! She is very professional, and she has guided us through the process so that our baby can reach her developmental milestones. Her advice and direction have been key during these 9 months. In the last session, we tried electrical stimulation, and I was able to see how my baby's posture improved. She was able to be more upright when sitting. Thank you for the beautiful work you do!

Lorena was amazing with our 3-year-old daughter who had delayed motor skills. Lorena was always friendly and patient, and never rushed her to do anything she wasn't comfortable with. We are forever grateful for Lorena for helping our girl find her way in the world!
