Sierra Family Health Center

Just went here for the first time today. I am super excited to have found such a great Doctor and clinic! First the receptionist is so kind and warm. You hardly ever find that with offices now. There was no waiting time. The clinic is super clean. The doctor was so professional, thoughtful and intelligent. He is an advocate on diet and taking care of yourself. So far seems like a perfect combination between traditional and holistic medicine. If you have insurance you need to look under Peter Van houten in Nevada City and choose that. Then you are able to come to the Oregon house location. If you don't have insurance they accept cash!! Very wonderful place.

The staff here really care about you and your health and you know you are in good hands. They treat you like family and integrity, honesty, and commitment are evident!

I tried switching to Sierra Medical, and the receptionist that answered the phone was very rude and told me I could not switch medical facilities, that I had to stay with my current medical office. Even if I wasn't receiving the care I need. 😕
