Shine Pediatric Therapy

I’d like to start by saying that my son and I have been attending Shine Pediatric Therapy since 2019-2020 and have been seeing growth, upon growth, upon growth during our time there. My son has excelled in so many ways I never even dreamed being possible! He loves this place so much that it isn’t called therapy, it’s called Playground House! I think that speaks for itself! There have been several staff changes, and many cherished therapists (Maddie, Kayla, Vanessa, Kira, Etc) have sadly left on for broader horizons and bigger ventures — but they have left behind such cherished memories and been replaced by equally as wonderful and inspiring therapists. We have had moments where we were on Flex Schedules, where we came 5x a week, where we came once a week and so on— and the staff have always gone above and beyond for my son and EVERY child I’ve seen there. Staff do very much match the energy you exert, to respect the introvert or extrovert needs of every individual parent and child— but always have stickers, snacks, suckers, goodies to reward the children for all of their hard work. And it shows! I feel like the office staff is also very much an integral part of the staff here, who go above and beyond to form genuine friendships and relationships that transcend what you’d see at a regular doctors office and recognize our babies when they walk in— which make them feel so seen, appreciated and loved! I’ve stuck in this area solely for Shine and their staff and wouldn’t dream of anyone being better suited to care for your babies and help them reach their goals! Cannot rate them high enough, 10/10!!

Shine Pediatric has been excellent and so welcoming to us! My daughter absolutely loves coming here and everyone is always so nice! Thank you Shine Pediatric!! We look forward to every therapy visit!

We love Shine! I’ve been bringing my daughter 1-2 times a week for a year now. We have seen multiple therapists for OT and speech, and all of the therapists we have seen have been genuinely invested in my daughter meeting her goals. They have worked to get her into regular slots, but with staffing changes it is not always possible, but she does not receive any less attention from therapists who do not see her regularly. The front desk staff at this location is wonderful. They greet every single child that comes in the door and make a connection with them as they get acquainted with the office. They keep treats for kids and snacks for purchase for parents, and I’m sure that comes out of their own pocket. I recommend Shine to every single person I know that is looking for ways to help their child, and will continue to do so.

My son has been going to Shine for more a little more than 7 months. He started when he was 16 months old. He didn't walk or talk. I never thoight he would. (Personally)He started coming every week 1-2 times a week per my schedule. The way he has blossomed over there last couple months is AMAZING!! He does more communication than I ever thought he would!! He runs and jumps now! The speech therapist's have always given amazing report backs and tell me what to do next with him (learningstones). He loves going. Thank you for such an amazing experience every time!

Staff is rude, pick favorites with children/clients, and the waiting lobby is a joke. You are penalized for absences but absolutely nothing is done about sick children coming up and touching you, your kids, and getting you sick while you are forced to be there. I’m so tired of getting coughed on by sick kids while parents are gossiping with front desk staff and their kids are running around unsupervised. Staff routinely come out late to get my daughter and bring my daughter out of her appointments early. Theres no discipline enforced here by staff or parents of other clients. 0 stars. Sucks that this is really the only place with availability to provide my daughter the services she needs.

Terribly disappointed. Over the year we attended (once to twice per week), there was little communication as far as goals, achievements, re-evaluation, etc. Very much felt like a number/customer and not like I had a team looking out for the best interest of my child. SUPER DISAPPOINTED! Edited to reply to the reply. Wrong way to handle this by the way. My phone has yet to ring. Happy to reach out to Christina. I've already expressed my concerns multiple times, why would someone/she not have reached out to me? Feel free to refer to the email sent earlier with screenshots of the text conversations requesting a review and the absolute waste of time me taking a half-day off to attend the scheduled review. The snarky attendance comments are laughable.

Maybe I should’ve read the reviews before actually bringing my son here but the lady he was working with Lexy was awesome very nice and polite but she did leave now it’s a bunch of run around I’m getting for my son coming for speech they basically put him on a flex schedule which I don’t understand bc he been here but they accepting new patients but can’t see the one they have on the days that are needed and I do feel like they show “Favorites” when it come to kids they text me about an appointment I come to bring my son and now they saying the appointment isn’t available anymore!!! Highly uoset because I drove 30 mins and had to leave work to bring him here!! Probably will start looking for another place cause I refuse to only be seen on a flex schedule when it’s already ONLY 30 mins

If I could give a 0 I would. They did not communicate clearly with us that they had dealt with our insurance carrier in the past and usually it cost more money. I am talking $16 to $420 which were due after service was completed. They agreed to the contract service price and I paid still over $100. Customer service and communication very poor.
