Dr. Garret Strand has been great. His communication has been excellent all around. He answered all of my questions and spent as much time as was needed for me to feel comfortable with the situation. I am still in the recovery stage from my surgery and all is going very well. Dr. Strand and Dr. Jenkinson (referred me to Dr. Strand) in particular, and all of the staff that I have encountered at Shasta Orthopedics have been exceptional in my opinion! Nice and comfortable. Pleasant seating sections and such a pleasant experience. This time I did not fall asleep in the MRI machine but I had a moment to myself and be thankful for the people who work here and the medical professionals. I love research and the medical equipment to help me is on my gratitude list. Thank you all. 5 stars.

They are amazing. I love the specialized care. I see two different doctors. One for my feet/ankle and the other foot my knees. I have been more than satisfied with their care at visits for consult, treatments and surgery when I need it. I recommend them anytime I hear that someone is having an orthopedic issue and needs a good orthopedic team.

Drs. Chang and Schillen listened to my situation, they are thorough and professional. The waiting period for the diagnostic procedure was very reasonable. Physical therapy at Shasta Orthopedics is excellent in all respects and uplifting to attend. There are also enough staff to assist you when you need anything at the main desk.

Amazing staff and Medical team! Dr. Schillen is very attentive and focuses on every individual patient. Highly recommend if you’re in Northern California.

The best Dr. with the highest regard for my overall health. Dr Chang is every athlete’s greatest asset, he will keep you in the game for the longest possible amount of time your injury will allow. Top notch performance medications to keep me enjoying playing on the court and on the trails, he’s the best at what he does!

I was able to see Stephen Ferraro, MD last week. He was personable, kind and very easy to talk to. He answered my questions and did not make me feel like I was being rushed out of the room. I also liked that he takes a conservative route when it comes to surgery.

I went into my procedure very nervous and scared. The staff was very welcoming and kind. Dr. Chang did an awesome job at keeping me calm by talking stories with me and cracking a few jokes with me. I definitely recommend going to Shasta Orthopedics
