Shasta Cascade Health Centers - Dunsmuir

I was able to get an appointment at the Dunsmuir clinic within days of calling for a non-emergency appointment with Julie Fadness. I had a brief wait before being taken to an exam room. Julie was friendly, engaged and very thorough with her exam. She was clear in describing my issue and what she recommended as a treatment. The nurses and receptionists were friendly and efficient. It is always a positive experience coming to the Dunsmuir Clinic.

Being an established patient of a provider in this practice for over ten years, not an appointment has gone by where I was unhappy. The staff are all caring, considerate of time, and give each patient the attention deserved. You’re not a number who is rushed out for the next patient in line. The providers are all professional and knowledgeable. I appreciate them being here in Dunsmuir to provide quality care to our residents.

I adore this clinic. I’ve never felt more personally cared for in a medical environment, from receptionists to nurses to doctors. For medical symptoms that past doctors have written off, I experienced both empathy and options. Dr. Claudia is a complete gem — kind, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring. The nurses also have gone above and beyond. I now Look Forward to going to the doctor. I 100% recommend this clinic.

From the front desk to the appointment the staff was wonderful. I had to get a prescription refilled and they got me an appointment for a day later. Going to Drs offices triggers my anxiety and I was at about a 9 when I walked in and was about a 2 after seeing practitioner Jeff Ridge. Would absolutely recommend Dunsmuir Community Health Center.

We are so lucky to have this amazing health clinic in our little town. Dr Fort one of my favorite doctors of all time, he's kind and compassionate and understanding and really good at what he does. The support staff have been lovely. Can't say enough good things about our little Health Clinic.

Best doctor I've had in my 60 years. Dr. Fort cares about his patients. He is a great doctor and a good man. The staff is kind and caring as well. I have been a pain in the 😊 in the past, yet they have always been understanding. I'm so thankful for all of them.

The staff at the Dunsmuir Clinic are excellent and highly trained. I had my blood drawn, and my experience was almost a pleasure. I do not like having my blood drawn but the highly skilled staff at the Dunsmuir Clinic made my experience be very tolerable.

There was a misunderstanding on my part that led to a poor initial review. Was asked to rate the Dunsmuir community health center which I did not know existed but turns out is a branch of Shasta Health. Not a fan of out of the blue text messages asking for reviews for places i have not dealt with. I had called the Shasta Valley Community Health Center to schedule a covid shot. Considerable time went by and was eventually able to go online and schedule a shot for the very next day at local pharmacy. 3 weeks later got call from Health center and told them I had gotten my first shot. Was glad that shot will now go to someone else in need.
