SHARKKS Therapy

Our daughter recently started physical therapy at SHARKKS to help with her back pain. We have been very impressed with the care from the entire staff. Dr. Shawn Williams’ knowledge and plan customization have been key. She’s made quick progress and looks forward to her sessions with all the therapists. We love the family-run environment and their approach to well being. We have an open claim with our insurance and the billing conversation with the owners was extremely refreshing. They were very reassuring and you can feel they truly care about our daughter and her health. If you need physical or occupational therapy we highly recommend SHARKKS therapy to feel better and feel cared about.

It took 3 weeks to get a call after my referral was sent over and another 2 weeks to be seen. After the appointment I couldn't even get regular appointments with the same staff member. They kept trying to pass me to another therapist with far less experience. The area they work with kids was crowded and loud and the floor wasn't even finished. The siblings of patients were climbing on the plastic gym they use unsupervised. The office just looks unfinished and the mats on the floor are dirty and the bathroom had not not been cleaned. The toilet had a yellow ring growing.There is electrical hanging down unfinished. The kitchen area is half kitchen and half disorganized office equipment that is part of the gym. If your expecting a professional facility go somewhere else. We will not be returning. This place does not make you feel safe.

We love Sharkks Therapy! They are knowledgeable and kind, and we drive 30 minutes to see them and wouldn't choose to go to anyone else! Both the office staff and the therapists are awesome. My little one is usually timid to strangers, but she warms up to everybody there right away. We love the environment and their friendliness!

Honestly this place is amazing. The SLP Lacey is quite possibly one of the most amazing humans I’ve met! My son just adores her and it’s so sweet. She is so so so so so good with him and every little one I’ve seen her with!!! The rest of the staff are warm and inviting as well. I’m so glad we found this place! Thank you Shawn and team for being so awesome!

The therapists are great to work with and they were very nice and understanding of patients and their needs.The management on the other hand was not very friendly or professional to the staff in front of patients and was not very responsive to patients either. Came here because my physical therapist that I have had for 4 years was here, do not feel comfortable about continuing my therapy here with no staff and the management not being professional

My pediatrician referred my 2 month old to this practice. Based on the reviews I felt this place was a good choice. As I scheduled my appointment, I assumed my 2 month old was scheduled with a licensed PT but discovered the day of the appointment it was with a student. Not knowing this I felt uncomfortable. Plus there was not a licensed physical therapist on-site during my daughters appointment, no on-site supervision. She also never asked for permission to conduct physical therapy and the “treatments” she was performing on my 2 month old. I want to note, this clinic looks like it’s never been cleaned. Our appointment was at 9 AM and the floors, bathroom were disgusting. As I tried not to be judgmental, the student treatment was counter productive. Honestly I think it was more harmful more than anything. I decided to give this clinic one more shot, same thing happened. Clinic was not cleaned, I asked student to clean the area before our appointment. I then decided I no longer want a student or this clinic for my daughters therapy. She’s not the students guinea pig.

Time to make sure u understand and. Really work with There clients. It's been an amazing experience so far .

If you want to find therapy that looks at the person as whole and addresses several areas at once and/or treat a wide range of issues, this is the place to go. Everyone I have interacted with at SHARKKS have been kind, courteous, patient, knowledgeable, helpful and experienced. Because my wife and I are both immune compromised, we wear masks everywhere. Without them even knowing this, they took the time to put on masks and scheduled us at less crowded times to lower our risks of further illness! Shaun, the owner and Occupational Therapist is very involved in the practice at many levels but he is also one of the few medical professionals who wasn't overwhelmed by my complicated list physical, mental and neurological issues (including me having suffered a recent relatively unexplained stroke at only 39 years old). He meticulous read through the many pages of my medical history and very quickly developed a treatment plan. I cannot say enough good things about this place. Their 5 star rating is well deserved!
