Shannon is very knowledgeable and I appreciate her approach to care as it’s constantly evolving. She helped me get range of motion back in my shoulder after a pretty extensive surgery as a result of an accident. There were days I didn’t think I would be back to normal and I had to accept that I may have limitations and I may not be able to dirt bike anymore. Nope, she didn’t let that happen and I’m near full range of motion and was able to get back on the bike a year later. In addition to helping me post right shoulder surgery she helped me with some ongoing issues with my left shoulder due to throwing my body on the ground one too many times and compensating for not having a functioning right arm for a few months. Not wanting to do surgery, she helped me get my left shoulder back to being pain free. She I understands body mechanics and is great about explaining so you can help yourself be more aware in day to day activities. Can’t recommend her enough.

Shannon is a very knowledgeable and skilled Physiotherapist. She provides her clients with a highly supportive and compassionate level of care. I will always be grateful to her for the treatment and care I received after my knee surgery. Not only is my knee now pain-free and strong with a full range of mobility, but with her help, I now have better body alignment with improved posture and an overall sense of well being.

I had a bulging disc, and was in a lot of pain. I was seeing a physical therapist my doctor referred me to, but I was not improving, nor was I impressed with their service. A friend recommended that I see Shannon. This friend told me that Shannon does something called “Dry Needling”, and that it had helped her in the past. Although I had never heard of Dry Needling I thought why not, it’s worth a try. I was in so much pain I was willing to try anything. After my first visit with her I felt relief, and after continued physical therapy I was able to get to the point of doing Pilates with Shannon which she also instructs. She’s very good at what she does and she loves what she does, and this shows in her dedication to getting you back on your feet. I know I appreciate what she’s done for me, and I would definitely recommend giving her a call and trying her out.

I have been to many PT's over the years for my 3 back surgeries but I have to say Shannon is at the top. Her knowledge of the body and how it protects itself after years of injury is spot on. I was NOT going to do needling due to bad past experiences but decided to let her try it. Glad I did. She is an expert with this and there was no pain and maximum benefit!! Every time I come in she listens and modifies treatment based on how I feel so its not the same thing week after week and the results are awesome! I would recommend her to anyone who truely wants to get back to pre injury status.

Shannon Zelenka provides very targeted physical therapy by getting to know her patients and their needs. She is extremely knowledgeable and personalized. After suffering a shoulder injury from a bike crash, she knew exactly what course of action to take. Through a combination of dry needling and friction treatment, as well as recommending specific rehabilitation stretches and exercises, my shoulder healed and I was able to get back to the activities I enjoy. 100% Satisfaction!!!

Shannon is an extremely knowledgeable, very professional and caring MIRACLE WORKER! I had influenza, followed immediately by c-vid, and then flew overseas from Australia to Glenworth Springs. I was having bad tinnitus (pulsatile- sounded like very very loud blood rushing in my ears) but didn't know what it was so went to Valley View Hospital where they made sure it wasn't something more serious and then told me to take sudafed. So I took almost a whole box of sudafed and it just kept getting louder. I found Shannon on google after I looked up physio and dry needling hoping giving the surrounding areas a massage and to work on my TMJ that it would help, and she gave me some really great tips on how to manage the tinnitus outside of her office as well. The TMJ dry needling and TMJ massage was amazing (massage hurt, but in a really good way!), tinnitus was already quieter after and I slept my first full night in weeks (it was so loud it was keeping me awake) AND she told me sudafed actually aggravates tinnitus. Well I googled that and she was totally correct so I stopped the sudafed. It's been 2 days since my appointment and the HORRIBLE tinnitus is TOTALLY GONE after weeks of misery. THANK YOU SHANNON. Could not recommend her services highly enough.

I cannot recommend Shannon highly enough. She has helped me with so many issues, from plantar fasciitis, to an out of whack lower back and hip, to arthritic thumbs. She is incredibly knowledgeable, skilled and professional. I'm looking forward ,also, to doing Pilates with her. She is a treasure, and we're lucky to have her in the valley.
