Shandy Clinic - Helen Hunt

So frustrated with this place. We waited months for our first appointment. On that day, I made the mistake of going to the wrong location at first (my fault) that location called over to the Moreno St. location to let them know I was on my way. I ended up 15 minutes late (again, my fault) however, after driving across town with a screaming baby, I was turned away saying “they needed the full hour” to do the evaluation. Which is fine, I just found it ridiculous nothing could be done with a 45 minute appointment. Then, after rescheduling for another month down the road, today was finally our appointment. Drove across town only for them to inform me the therapist she was supposed to see wasn’t there, and no one bothered to call me. So we left, AGAIN.

I absolutely love this clinic. As soon as you walk in you are greeted by the most upbeat personality from Mr. Angelo. He is always professional and courteous every week that we see him. Two of my boys see Mrs. Andrea H. weekly and absolutely love her and love giving her a hard time 🙂. She is so patient and really takes the time to get to know us and our concerns. She is very involved with assisting my boys and even with assisting me with all of my questions and concerns. I would recommend this clinic to anyone and everyone that I felt would benefit from their services.

Don’t waste your time. They will do an assessment and even though they have no availability on their schedule they will put you on a waiting list to start services. After 6+ moths they will discharge PT and make you get a new referral to then make you need a whole new assessment. When being on the waiting list they will never call you even though they have availability. I called towards the end of my 6 months to see where I was at on the waiting list and they then told me the availability they had but I needed a new referral to start services.

I absolutely love this place. I have been bringing my son here since August and have had an overwhelmingly amazing experience. Everyone that we have met at this facility shows genuinely caring, loving, compassionate and kindness to all clients and family. I always feel welcomed and never worry about feeling rushed or ignored when express my concerns. They are always helping my son work through his tough days and he feels comfortable and loves everyone he interacts with. I am so thankful to have been referred to this place and thankful for everything they do for my son. I know that some day we may graduate from here and that will be a very sad day. Mr. Angelo at the desk is an amazing asset to this clinic. He is always happy never without a smile in his face and never seems put out when asked for something. He is always listening even when you just babble on.

Where do I start …. Shandy clinic is all about money . The billing team seems to be incompetent . A year ago, when I first started my child in the clinic I had my card on file for autopay. They were charging my card when the therapist would call off or if my child wasn’t there. I asked them about the issue and they stated they would return the money , however they never did and put it on my account as a credit . Fast forward to a couple of months ago, shandy clinic over charged me about $500. I ask for a refund instead of a credit and I was told by Carla the billing manger “ I don’t have to give you back your money”. They will be sure to charge you , but when it’s time to refund the money there’s so many excuses. Also, the clinic manager at the woodman location threatened to end services , even though this was a mishap on there billing department.LOOK AT ALL THE REVIEWS ABOUT SHANDY BILLING . I WISH I WOULDVE TOOK THOSE REVIEWS INTO CONSIDERATION!

Completely misdiagnosed my daughter. Wasted a lot of time receiving treatments for something that did not apply. They get 2 stars because the therapists are really nice people. Never had an issue with customer service.

I love bringing my son here. It's very clean, friendly staff, they have a few bilingual employees too (wish they had more) but overall this place is awesome. I'm glad I bring my son here and I'm very grateful for all the therapists here!!!

This clinic will take your money and schedule evaluations quickly but when it comes time to receive services they don’t return calls and they can’t schedule appointments. The staff is dismissive and not helpful. I’ve been trying to schedule since December and was just told that now they’re on a waiting list. Don’t waste your time or money. These people are no help.
