Shadow Brook Post-Acute

First let me say the people caring for the patients at Shadow Brook are genuinely nice and caring people. No so the office staff. My Mother spent her last days there. We were asked to pay a FULL months care in advance with the understanding that we would receive a refund of any funds not used that month. Mom passed after a few days there in October 2021. After many months we asked for our refund. At first they said we had a refund coming of $6,600.00, but it would take a while because Shadow Brook changed ownership and they will check to see what they can do. Now, they say we owe additional money. (THOUSANDS More) Our suggestion, DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY MONEY UP FRONT !! We will see where this goes .....

The DON ( fresh outa of emergency room experience) was in a take no prisoners approach which she didn’t seem to comprehend the difference which I feel was a manifestation of her the same as whatever. I felt much better from various 👏👏👏

Absolutely horrible place, my mother was transferred here from Oroville Hospital and they did nothing for her! No help when she asked for it, when she finally got their attention they yelled at her! This place should be shut down!! Don't believe the only 5 star review, it's a biased review.

My mom used to work there many years ago and it was not a very good place to leave someone you love. I would never allow my mom to go there.
