I've had good experiences with the physical therapy at SET. The staff are knowledgeable and give you their full attention. I've had less good experiences with scheduling, billing, and other admin tasks. In the past I had a number of issues with the wrong credit card being charged, office staff not responding to my emails, and uninformative invoices that my insurance company wouldn't accept. More recently, I had to switch therapists - I waited a month for office staff to get back to me about scheduling, and the new therapist I was scheduled with refused to answer my emails or communicate with me at all. (I am now scheduled with somebody else.) The staff have been apologetic about most of these things and have made improvements over time, which is great and I understand that mistakes happen. However, the more recent issues with communication have left a bad impression.

Old age has many benefits, but the joints sure do ache and staying in the game takes more time and effort. Morgan Panzer is my guide and cheerleader. Her efforts are paying big dividends for me. She is thoughtful, creative, dependable, funny, and caring. I can't say enough!

Update: 3 years later and everyone at SET (especially Morgan) are still awesome! Scheduling my first appointment at SET was a very easy process, and every single person I've interacted with has been welcoming and extremely kind. Every time I walk through the door for an appointment, Noveen at the front desk never fails to greet me with a warm welcome. She is also very punctual, and reliable, and will make sure all your logistical needs get met. Morgan has completely changed the game for physical therapy in my opinion. She is an extraordinary example of what a physical therapist should be (supportive, patient, non-judgmental, friendly, caring, the list goes on), and fits in perfectly with what SET is all about (individualism, privacy, understanding, empowerment etc) On top of that, she's an absolute joy to be around. I find myself quite excited to go to PT simply because Morgan makes it such a wonderful experience. If you're hesitant about going to SET, I'd say bite the bullet and go for it. It's a great place for people of all different types, but especially for the one's who may have some fears/concerns about going to PT.

Chris and the team at Set PT are above and beyond other PT practices. The people handing billing are excellent and make sure that insurance is covering the maximum amount for each session. Chris is an excellent practitioner and has treated multiple body parts of mine from shoulders to ankles to back. When Chris has been unavailable, I have seen other Set PT therapists and have not ever had a bad experience. After going to orthopedic surgeons, chiropractors, and other PT offices it was Chris who was able to get me back to weight lifting at my fullest capability. Not only is he an excellent physical therapist, he’s an excellent person and makes every session interesting and different, whether through conversations or new movements. I highly recommend Chris and Set Physical Therapy.

Chris is an absolutely brilliant doctor, who has brought me mobility and hope amid a decade of often excruciating pain. He has identified and helped me correct seemingly disconnected patterns that numerous other doctors have missed; and has empowered me with skills to better navigate these issues on my own. Perhaps equally as notable: Chris has a buoyant, sunny energy, and one of his greatest talents is that I often leave dry needling sessions feeling like I’ve had coffee with an old friend. His humor, intentionality and compassion are a rare combination, and are foundational to the success of the practice. I’ve referred family and friends to Set PT who have been just as amazed with their results -- and I sing Set’s praises to pretty much anyone who will listen.

Set PT has been so supportive with my EDS journey and teaching me how to manage it. Morgan is incredibly empathetic, knowledgable and resourceful. The whole team is super inclusive and welcoming. Highly Recommend them, especially if you have any connective tissue issues!

For years I’ve been dealing with chronic neck and back issues where both would suddenly tighten without explanation. I went to see Chris and it was a game changer. Chris handled the immediate problem by working on my back and neck which provided a lot of relief. He also took the time to explain what was going on and how I can make simple adjustments throughout the day (mostly in my posture at work and during my exercise). I’ve had a lot of relief since and feel like I’ve finally turned a corner. Recommend Set PT whole heartedly!

I’ve spent the last few months going to SET Physical Therapy and they have worked wonders. Morgan listens to how I am feeling on any particular day and we work on that area. The at home exercises are specific to your issues and build on each other. You have your PTs full, undivided attention for your hour appointment, which is something I’ve never experienced at other PTs. I am sad that my time there is coming to an end, but happy that my issues have resolved. I will definitely be going back to SET (if I need to!) and recommending others as well!
