SERC Physical Therapy

My surgeon prescribed physical therapy treatments after my recent surgery, and I was fortunate to select Midtown SERC. At that facility, I was given excellent treatment, and the staff made every effort to give me good workouts and to create a friendly, comfortable atmosphere. The facility was clean with convenient parking and easy access--very important to me since I was not walking very well at the time. Rating = Excellent!

The physical therapists at SERC are top-notch and have helped me significantly with chronic pain in my shoulders, knees and hips, as well as with balance issues. It’s an upbeat, cheerful place to go (with great music to get us going!)

Everyone at this place is knowledgable and makes physical therapy...fun! This is high-quality care from people who seriously care about their clients' physical and mental wellness. I was there regularly for weeks following spine surgery, and I actually looked forward to my physical therapy days. I worked mostly with Heidi and Drew, who are exactly the kind of positive and smart people you want to help you when you're recovering. They were super encouraging, respectful and knew exactly how to get me to push just a little further. I really think their attitudes were as important as their PT knowledge in getting me to do what I needed to do get stronger and recover.

The entire team was welcoming and professional, esp Katie. She was extremely knowledgeable but most importantly, I felt safe under her care. I completed therapy feeling more confident and stronger. Highly recommend.

I thoroughly enjoyed the time I spent there with everyone. From the time I walked in the door I was always greeted by my name and felt welcomed. During my course of therapy, it always felt like we were all a big family. I have never met such a great group of people that were so compassionate about delivering proper and thorough patient care. You can tell that they absolutely do care about the patient and make you feel like a human being and not just a number. This group of people are phenomenal and deserve the highest praise because they not only care about your quality of life but your quantity of life as well. Great Job!

I did therapy for 3 months for a torn ligament in a finger on my dominant. I’m very pleased with the results. The staff and therapists here were all professional and created a nice environment to work through my issue. Highly recommend to anyone with hand issues.

I had pre-surgery and after surgery PT with Heidi Carstensen. I chose SERC because I had a good experience previously in Overland Park. I chose this location because it is near work. I had a wonderful experience. It was a pleasant and friendly atmosphere. I honestly felt like I was coming to see friends as the entire staff was always welcoming. I also had no trouble switching temporarily to a SERC nearer home just after surgery when I couldn't drive. And, as for Heidi, she helped me rehabilitate and made it easy for me to remember my stretches to use at home. She knew when to push and when to take it easy on me. She also has a great sense of humor. Hopefully I won't need any further physical therapy but if I ever do, I will definately return to SERC.

Awesome place for rehab!!. Clean and friendly atmosphere. Very knowledgeable, and encouraging. Katie and her crew are very professional. They don't encourage drugs for pain but working on the injury. It might hurt at the beginning but stick with it. Thanks to all of you.
