SERC Physical Therapy

After recent surgery for a displaced disc in my neck, I dreaded the thought of physical therapy. In the past, my mother and I had dreadful experiences. But after my first visit at SERC, I knew this experience was going to be different. My therapist, Dan, listened to me and understood my limitations. I am so grateful that my chronic neck pain has diminished greatly. I only wish I could take him home with me!

Absolutely the best place for physical therapy! Dr. Matt and his team are so friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful, it makes going to physical therapy not only fun but very productive! I have been going to SERC Waldo for 14 weeks to recover from a hip replacement. At 65 yrs old, my goal was to return to doing the activities I enjoy. Dr. Matt and his team customized my physical therapy regiment to focus on the events and activities that I want to get back to doing after the surgery. They accomplished the mission!! Not only were they professional and helpful, but they are a fun group to be around! I looked forward to going to PT session every time. If you need physical therapy, I highly recommend SERC Waldo. I recently visited SERC for my first ever PT visit. Their facility is bright and inviting. I was greeted warmly by both the front desk staff and my PT, Will Smith. Will was kind, thorough and knowledgeable. SERC provided a positive experience that helps me feel good about returning for my subsequent visits.

For a long time I had a painful neck condition. After multiple doctors etc I was referred to SERC. Matt and Andreanna were assigned to me and from the beginning they worked hard and diligently to help solve my issue. They listened, made suggestions, provided multiple solutions, and Through time and effort they helped me get to the solution where for the first time I felt no pain. They are DOCTORS of physical therapy, and they know what they are doing. I cannot thank them, nor recommend them enough to anyone.

Recently completed therapy for my hip replacement with SERC on Main and Gregory in KCMO. Andreanna was my main therapist with Faith also playing a role in my recovery. Both were very patient with me and were able to answer any questions or concerns I had..as well as giving me solutions. The entire office was very friendly, making it a comfortable place to go when I may not have been feeling the greatest. There were days I didn't feel like doing the therapy, but staff was supportive in pushing me through my therapy in order to assure I was staying on track for recovery. Can't thank them enough as I feel GREAT after 2 months therapy!! Hopefully I won't have to go to therapy again, but if I need therapy for anything again, SERC would be my choice as they were sincere in wanting me to have a successful recovery!

Over the years I have had many episodes of physical therapy, and a number of therapists. None have provided the therapeutic outcomes I’ve experienced as a patient here. Never before has a therapist assessed the problem so thoroughly. My therapist compiles the data measurements and periodically reevaluates. My therapist provides the rationale I need to understand the program and modify my activity. At my age one thing gets fixed and another breaks down, but with Matt Winkle and SERC Waldo I can be assured of the best possible supportive care.

I have just finished rehab for my second knee replacement within a year. My experience with this SERC clinic has been outstanding in every way. The PTs are knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. They explain why they prescribe each exercise. I highly recommend this clinic to everyone.

I went to SERC after a total shoulder replacement. Faith worked with me. She did an outstanding job. I actually was able to complete rehab six weeks sooner than the doctor thought I would need it. Faith is awesome. I also worked with Andreanna and Selena. They were both very good also.
