Great therapy center. Jon was very knowledgeable and is a good communicator. Five weeks and my back and hip are feeling much better.

I came here for recovery after an ACL reconstruction. My hopes of being back to what I was before my surgery were low. After 4 months of PT I feel stronger, more confident, and happy to say my only restrictions are on waiting for my ACL to turn into an ACL. I feel stronger, more stable, and healthier than ever. Trey, Jon, Claire, and Susan were all so courteous, adaptable, and enthusiastic about the whole process. I was trained with Trey, Jon, and Claire at different times, but they all went out of their way to check in with me, compliment noticeable improvement, and provide critical feedback when need be. Susan was professional, a friendly personality, and efficient at making the appointments or making changes that needed to be made. I can't thank this crew enough for all the help and support throughout this process.

I have had the most awesome experience twice with Trey at the Sentara Physical Therapy in Kitty Hawk. He was most welcoming. I actually looked forward to each visit! I have been to a few physical therapists before, but never one up to Trey’s deep knowledge and experience! He helped me so much with my hip and lower back and on second visit post-surgery shoulder. I felt better after every visit! I would not hesitate to refer anyone to Trey and already have! People that are hurting out there...go see Trey. You’ll never look back!

I had therapy sessions here on two occasions. One time for my knee and currently for my neck and back. Trey is very helpful, informational, and professional. He does his job outstandingly well and helps you reach your full potential of recovery. Susan handles my other needs, such as making sure a have the proper documents. Both Trey and Susan are super friendly and positive; and the atmosphere is wonderful...

Trey Black has been the best physical therapist I've ever had. I have been through 5 extensive back surgeries over the last 20 years. Thanks to Trey's knowledge and experience I graduated PT one month early. I had another fusion and actually danced out the door my last appointment. Thank you Trey!!!

I went to Trey Black, at the Sentara Therapy Center, for rehabilitation of a broken shoulder and help with some chronic back pain. I could not have been happier with the attention I received and level of professionalism he exhibits. I never felt rushed and the one on one and individualized attention that he gives to each of his patients is rare in today's world of medicine. The exercise and stretching program he recommended were spot on and effective. I am back to my regular routine and feeling good. I would highly recommend Trey to anyone needing physical therapy for any condition!

Trey is great! I broke my ankle surfing and he got me back in the water physically and mentally! The at home excercises really helped and Trey was always willing to focus on my needs (getting to surf!). He also helped manage my expectations and helped me be patient during my recovery. I would highly recommend treatment here!!
